Oh good lord – please accept that your 15 minutes of fame are up and get a real job. Oh, did I say that out loud? Anyway, Micah Tanous, husband of ex-Real Housewife Of Orange County star Peggy Tanous has taken to twitter to accuse his wife’s former co-stars of paying for their hundreds of thousands of twitter followers.
I mean everyone knows number of twitter followers = amount of self worth, right? Only if you’re a D-List Celebrity! In an accusatory tweet, Micah announced: “I just answered a call from the company that is SELLING all the current #RHOC cast their Twitter followers, What a F’ing Joke! Fake likes!?!”
Tamra Barney, always quick with the reply and self-defense immediately shot back with, “that’s bullshit…I have never bought a follower in my life!!!!”

Peggy and Tamra are allegedly – allegedly – still “friends” by the way, but the comments had Tamra questioning their relationship. Peggy assured her, things are all good. “We are friends T! Nothing in my end,” she protested.
Micah and Tamra continued to carry-on with the nonsense. “Current cast members just got pissed I tweeted that… Too funny,” Micah snarked. Micah then claimed PR agents are utilizing software to generate followers. “Oh god, what do you think these $2500 “PR” agents that promise “social media marketing” are doing. The software only costs $50!”
Tamra rebutted by announcing that actually some of her co-stars do pay for their popularity. “not cool to say ‘all current’ cast members when it’s a lie. We know a certain couple buy followers The rest of us do not!”
“I wish these certain cast members had ‘bought’ me to follow/like them…I NEED SOME DOUGH!!,” Tamra added. I mean a girls gotta buy more hair weaves and spray tans, right?
Heather Dubrow also addressed the issue, tweeting: “We would never pay to have followers! So pathetic!!!” None of the other cast members have bothered commenting on the allegation.
