It wouldn’t be a Real Housewives reunion if one of the cast members did not storm off of the stage. The shocking move has become weirdly standard at this point. So I’m really not too surprised that Cary Deuber took part in this Real Housewives rite of passage at the first Real Housewives of Dallas reunion.
Plus, it really does make sense since LeeAnne Locken went out of her way to spread rumors about Cary’s marriage to Mark Deuber. Any normal person would be upset about that and those normal emotions get magnified on the Real Housewives reunion stage.

We all knew that shit was going to hit the fan when LeeAnne and Cary were sitting directly across from each other at the RHOD reunion.
Cary took to her Bravo blog to explain what was running through her mind at the time: “The anger I felt about the gossip and lies that had been going on behind my back had come to a head and turned to tears. The story that LeeAnne told was one that I had never even heard. I got so emotional talking about my husband because I love him so much and he is such a good person. Obviously, his reaction makes it clear that he has also really been affected by all that was said, too. Thankfully, one therapy session with Andy Cohen got out a year and a half’s worth of gossip and lies that I had tried to coax out for quite some time…but I digress…”

I really don’t blame Stephanie for being so anxious. They filmed the season such a long time ago, then she had to relive the bad moments and see what LeeAnne was saying behind her back.
Cary wrote about the walk off: “The moment that I walked off set I was utterly overwhelmed…I was crying so hard my right eyelash fell off and I had snot dripping down my face…I really don’t love my cry face (especially for public viewing). I just needed to regain my composure. After I got that out, I felt better. I’m so thankful I got everything on the table and out in the open.” Well, that was pretty clear, but hopefully this chapter is behind her and LeeAnne will stop with the blatant shit stirring.
