Sonja Morgan has had a difficult season of Real Housewives Of New York. Sheâs struggled with friendships failing, accusations about her drinking, business endeavors, and the blow-up of Luann and Tom in her face, but she wonât let it get her down â after all: while the other girls drown in their misery, Sonja will continue being the sexy J that stirs the drink!Â
Yet, Sonja admits sheâs âdisappointed with the girls. I think they need to get their own lives instead of looking at mine. Theyâre very self-serving.âÂ

Sonja promises the reunion was more of the same. âI just felt like there was a lot of flip-flopping, lack of loyalty, more than meets the eye. I donât like when the women donât fess up to what theyâre really thinking and why they really did things.â
Sonja calls out the ladiesâ hypocritical and hurtful behaviors â from Ramona Singer calling Sonja embarrassing, to Dorinda Medley dis-inviting her to the Berkshires, to everyone stirring up trouble between Sonja and Bethenny.Â
On Bethenny, âI think everyone has been up her ass looking out her eyes, and that is gross,â complains Sonja.
Despite the rumor that Sonja sought legal advice about suing Bethenny over being iced out of filming because of Tipsy Girl, Sonja and Bethenny are âfine.â She blames the other girls for exaggerating her alcohol use to Bethenny.Â
âShe was personally upset with me, because they were in her ear egging her on,â Sonja tells Vulture. âBut look at them! Bethenny saw me out one night smashed, and they added insult to injury. And I was smashed that night she saw me. But they didnât help anything. They werenât saying, âYou love Sonja. We love Sonja. Sheâs lots of fun.ââ

âAt least when Iâm drinking Iâm showing everyone a good time,â adds Sonja. âWhen they drink, theyâre just bitchy and mean.âÂ
Like Ramona, who claimed Sonjaâs behavior would ruin her reputation on the dating scene. âYouâre embarrassed?â she gasps. âYouâre embarrassing before people even meet you! Iâve been apologizing for you for years. Single or not single, you can do yourself in without my help.âÂ
Sonja is also âpissed offâ at Dorinda .âSheâs very disappointing and talks out of both sides of her mouth.â
Despite the Tom-drama, Sonja still considers Luann de Lesseps a friend. âI always say that I wonât let a man come between us. He should have said, âWe were really good friends and we had something special, but then I fell for Lu.â That would have made us both feel special. Thatâs why I made the comments about the murky yellow diamond and stuff. I wasnât mad at her. I was mad at him.âÂ
âYou canât be a tomcat and a lying cat,â lectures Sonja. âYou have to tell the truth.âÂ
Sonja maintains she was never âthinking of Tom in that wayâ and always considered their association casual, but her feelings were hurt by him, and by Luann for ditching her the second she met her betrothed. âWhen we were living together, you got to see another side to her. Then as soon as there is a man, forget it. She gets like that.â
Sonja only discussed her hook-ups with Tom because, âI knew the group knew and it was going to come out. I knew there was no getting around it. To be polite, I said we were friends with benefits.âÂ
âThe show is real, but with the edits, people see it differently. They only show different bits, and with that, you would think I was upset or jealous. If you saw the texts and conversations I had with Tom, it might have explained my anger,â adds Sonja. âPerhaps that will come up at the reunion.âÂ
Of course reunions are all about telling the truth, right? Or not. Sonja reveals this one is a real doozy!Â
Well, Sonja Morgan is a lady of many intriguing principals and conflicting beliefs in life. For instance she would not sleep with a man for a $3,000 ticket to see Hamilton on Broadway, but sheâd consider it for an evening at the Hotel du Cap in France. (Joking!)Â
