James Kennedy made his return to the clubhouse on Watch What Happens Live last night. Andy Cohen hasn’t had him back on the show since he and Vanderpump Rules co-star Lala Kent were on together, dropping F-Bombs and more in one of the most-bleeped episodes ever. He even opted to not drink at all during the show so that he wouldn’t slip. Andy also had breakaway bottles on hand, telling James that co-guest Bridget Everett will break one over his head every time he swears.
On the altercation with Jax Taylor at the end of last night’s episode, Jax Tweeted to slam James, saying he ran away like a little girl and called him a pussy. James responds, “Honestly what happened was I threw the drink back at him and he came running at me and slipped on the drink before he could get to me. The security guards were holding him down on the floor. I didn’t get kicked out. They were just trying to get me to safety before crazy Jax like killed me or something.”
Andy asks Raquel Leviss, who was in the audience, about the confrontation from GG and Ellie. She says it was “not the funnest of times.” Andy asks if it bothers James that viewers think he hooked up with them. “I mean, it looks awful. It doesn’t bother me, no.”
James admitted that it all looks suspicious, but explained that he has a lot of parties at his house, so it’s not that outrageous that they had a bag of his clothes. He thinks she may have been tired and borrowed his PJs.
Does James think it was appropriate for his mom to wish Kristen to be barren? “No, obviously it was not a very nice thing to say. But at the end of the day she is my mother, she loves me very much and she’s an intense one, but she’s family so I love her more than anything.

Chrissy Teigen called in and wanted to know who Lala‘s boyfriend is. James says to Andy, “Honestly, am I allowed to give out names?” Andy replied with a firm “NO.” So James simply confirmed, “she’s dating a big Hollywood producer.” Chrissy gushed over how much she loves James and wants to book him to play her next event. John Legend confirmed for James that he IS the white Kanye. This made James very happy to be given a little validation regarding his self-dubbed title.
Does James regret the way he treated Tom Sandoval after watching last night’s episode, seeing now that Tom totally had James’ back? “Oh yeah, totally. I went red when it was all happening along with the adrenaline from getting off the show, big or small, it’s always the same. Jax had to come with negative energy, which I’m really not about and it just fed the fire.”
James says he hasn’t heard anything about the rumors that George Michael‘s godchildren would be inheriting his fortune. He also confirmed that he hadn’t seen his godfather since he was 12.
On his relationship status with Lala: “We are best mates, her and I kick it all the time at her apartment.”
Does he feel bad for talking behind Lala‘s back to Stassi and Kristen? “When you’re in the moment and you’ve got one person telling you one thing and then you try and text Lala and she’s just MIA, it’s really hard to gain consciousness of what’s really happening. So, I guess I just fell for it.”
