Anyone who has been watching the current Real Housewives of Atlanta season knows that Porsha Williams reached for a story line took issue with NeNe Leakes mentioning her name when a fan asked who should be fired from the show. That interview stood out for a minute, but ironically enough Porsha is the one who gave this interview so much life in the public eye.
And of course, more people are asking the OG cast member to share her thoughts on who should and who should not be on the show. Porsha really just made this whole thing worse for herself, didn’t she?
In an interview with TooFab, NeNe admitted, “In my opinion, yes — the cast should be changed up a bit.”
I disagree. This show and New York City are the two in the franchise that have perfect casts. Sure, not everyone in the show is super exciting, but there really is a perfect balance here – or at least there is in my opinion.
NeNe said,”If I had it my way, I would get rid of two girls and bring in two new ones for excitement. You know, after a while with some of the girls, they just don’t have anything going on exciting enough to be a main cast member.”
Who could she be referring to? Some names immediately come to mind and they’re people who I like, but aren’t bringing it as much as the others. Is that acceptable for the sake of “balance,” or do the viewers deserve more.
Unlike last time, NeNe did not name names. She admitted, “But I better keep who I think should go to myself because the moment I say anything, all hell breaks loose.” Clearly.
As of this moment, it seems like NeNe is not cool with Porsha and Kim Zolciak, so maybe those are the two she’s referring to? It’s logical, but Kim isn’t even a full-time cast member this season. So who is she referring to?
NeNe addressed that Porsha controversy and said what a lot of us have been thinking: “I think Porsha needed something to run with and that’s what she did.” What other story line does Porsha have?
NeNe emphasized, “Porsha and I hadn’t spoken to each other since the Season 8 reunion show. We were not friends! I was free to say and feel whatever I wanted to. I didn’t cross any friendship lines. Porsha stopped speaking to me simply because I gave her advice that quite frankly was good advice.”
