Sometimes it seems the off screen drama that goes on amongst the Bravo housewives is even juicer than what is shown on TV.
Less than 24 hours after Bravo aired with country club fight scene on the Real Housewives of New Jersey, HollywoodLife reported Danielle Staub’s decision to sue her co-stars Teresa, Ashley and all others she deemed responsible for the fiasco.
Well Teresa Giudice, who lies claims she wasn’t trying to pick a fight with Danielle during her Monday appearance on Watch What Happens, is now responding to Danielle’s asinine lawsuit story.
Teresa tells Popeater, “Believe me, if we could get a restraining order against a cast member, Danielle would have had four against her already. I never threatened her. She, however, has been on camera threatening me, stalking me, and even practicing doing me harm.”
And what does Teresa think of Danielle’s accusation that she defamed her character? “Don’t make me laugh. I think she’s defamed her own reputation all by herself,” she adds.
The Popeater article reveals Danielle’s lawsuit announcement might just be a publicity stunt as Bravo “has tight contracts with the ‘Housewives,’ so the women can’t sue each other.” No word yet on if Danielle has actually filed the lawsuit.
Plus to my knowledge, if Danielle does decide to sue any of her castmates, there’s a very good chance Bravo will cut all ties with her, for very good reason. If the housewives start suing each other, it will lead to less drama on the shows as none of them will want to risk getting sued.
In other NJ news, Monday night’s episode was the highest in the show’s history. It brought in an astonishing 3.29 million viewers total. Just to show you how great those numbers are, the Kelly Benismon “breakthrough” episode on the Real Housewives of New York City brought in 2.32 million viewers in comparison. Seems violence sells over crazy.
