Despite a report that came out weeks ago stating that Teresa Giudice was done with the Real Housewives of New Jersey because she felt she was treated unfairly by the show, a new TMZ report today is stating that Teresa wants to return to the show, but only if the money is right.
According to TMZ, Teresa is on the verge of getting the axed from the show due to her money demands holding up contract negotiations, and Bravo is reportedly losing patience.
Sources close to Teresa are however firing back, telling TMZ Teresa’s under the impression the other women in the cast are earning significantly more money than she is and she wants to double her salary from last season.
Teresa is reportedly willing to walk away from the show if Bravo doesn’t cough up enough cash. Though Bravo refused to comment on the contract negotiations, they did state that they are looking at possible replacements. TMZ adds that all the other ladies are expected to return, with the exception of Danielle Staub of course, who despite her claims that she left the show on her own accord, was fired by Bravo.
My take on this? This seems like a negotiation ploy by both Bravo and Teresa. As we have previously reported, Teresa’s sophomore cooking book is scheduled to be released at the same time the 3rd season of the show will be returning so despite the leaked information to the press, Teresa needs the show. And with news that Bravo has signed Teresa’s sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, Bravo needs Teresa back on show as well.

Perhaps it’s a slow news day but RadarOnline is reporting today that Teresa’s brother in law, Pete Giudice, has also filed for bankruptcy.
According to Radar, Joe Giudice’s brother Pete and his wife filed Chapter 7 with the United States Bankruptcy Court in New Jersey on June 29, 2010. The couple listed their monthly income as $7,000 with assets totaling $1.3 million but liabilities of nearly $2 million. Guess this is chump change compared to the $11 million debt of Teresa and Joe.
Pete’s debts are defined as consumer debts with the number of creditors estimated to be between 50-99 with claims ranging from $160 to $46,000. Pete has also filed a notice to abandon his $1.3 million NJ home.
