In what can only be described as a major burn, a rep for Alex Rodriguez is now publicly denying any claims/reports of a romance or flirting between Alex and Kelly Bensimon.
This all stems from a report that magically found its way in the NYPost on Tuesday. The report not only claimed Alex was heavily flirting with the Real Housewives of New York City star, it also alleged they went on a date the next day.
“The whole story about Kelly and A-Rod is absolute, unadulterated hogwash,” his rep tells UsWeekly. “There were 1,500 people at that party at Wall, and Kelly was one of many that were clamoring to meet him,” a source added.
Ouch, but the burns did not end there. Another insider close to the pro baseball player added that Kelly “is not exactly his material,” calling their meeting “an accidental collision at a party.”
Seems like A-Rod’s on-again, off-again girlfriend Cameron Diaz has nothing to worry about.
In other Kelly news, she also makes an appearance in the latest issue of In Touch magazine during which she tells the mag she wants some feminine curves. “I don’t want to be a stick figure,” she said. “I want to look like a woman.” Judging from her latest bikini photos, she has a long way to go.
