Jersey Shore star The Situation aka Mike Sorrentino is being forced to deal with an unpleasant situation this week as his father has spent the entire week publicly bashing him while also revealing his plans to release a tell-all book about him.
It all began on Tuesday when Frank Sorrentino released an explosive video accusing his son of abandoning his family after getting famous. “I ask you one f**king favor and you tell me to go f**king be like a regular f**king Joe Blow and go on welfare? No, my friend, I don’t do that,” said Frank in the video.
Frank made other allegations against The Sitch, including accusing him of getting fired from a job for receiving oral sex from a 40-year-old co-worker.
TMZ then reported yesterday that the main issue with Frank has to do with money… of course. One of Frank’s business associates tells TMZ that Frank had asked the Sitch for help in making his monthly medical insurance payments recently and that Mike refused. Sources claim that not only did Mike say no but he also told his dad to “move to Florida and go on welfare.”
Frank was apparently outraged by Mike’s refusal to help and decided to post the videos of himself slamming his son.
As for The Situation, 28, he is currently in Italy getting ready to start filming the 4th season of the Jersey Shore. He did however release a statement through his rep calling his father’s actions hurtful. Frank “has unfortunately decided to go public with some statements regarding Mike Sorrentino to garner himself media attention. Mike is extremely saddened by his estranged father’s actions and the Sorrentino family, Marc, Frank, Jr., Melissa and their mother Linda, remain united with Mike under these hurtful circumstances.”
As of today, Frank is now planning to release a tell-all book about his son titled Confrontation With Situation. Frank promises the book will reveal all about Mike’s life before hitting it big.
“I’m calling Mike on his sh*t,” Frank says in a press release. “I’ve covered up for Mike his entire life, and when I needed his help, he left me hanging. I think people should know what I know. Hardcore partying, drugs, sex, crime elements, you name it, it’s in there.” Frank also announced today that he now wants his own reality show. Yikes.
