Yes it has finally happened for Kimmy!
After years of numerous relationships with numerous professional athletes, Kim Kardashian is officially engaged! The E! reality star graces the latest cover of PEOPLE magazine as she sold the mag gave the mag the exclusive on her engagement details.
So just how did NBA beau of six months Kris Humphries, 26, pop the question to Kim, 30? Well it all took place on May 18 when Kim walked into her Beverly Hills home, and Kris was waiting in her bedroom on bended knee with four words written in red rose petals: “WILL YOU MARRY ME?”
“I didn’t expect this at all,” Kim tells PEOPLE of the romantic, surprise proposal. “I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now.” Really Kim? Because you kind of gave an exclusive interview to Life & Style magazine just weeks ago talking about your dream engagement and your desire to marry Kris. But who’s keeping track! We will go with Kimmy’s statement that this was a total shock!
Kris, who popped the question with a custom-designed, 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring, also spoke to PEOPLE! “I just knew I wanted it to be big,” says Kris, who had the help of Kim’s mom Kris Jenner to help plan an intimate family celebration later that evening.
“Kris really didn’t want a big celebration, but he had jokingly told my mom he’d be fine if there were mini-horses there,” says Kim with a laugh. “Later that night at the party, my mom brought out two mini-horses, covered in glitter, for us! It was hysterical!”

She eloped back in 2000 when she was age 19 and married her first love/music producer Damon Thomas. That marriage however did not last and in her divorce documents, Kim alleged abuse. Kim also revealed recently that Kris will appear on the upcoming sixth season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which is set to debut on the E! network June 12.

UPDATE – “Sources” tell TMZ that Kim’s ring is worth $2 million!!! The stones are reportedly “the highest clarity and color.”
