Tareq Salahi is now revealing his devastation a day after falsely reporting his wife Michaele Salahi was missing and kidnapped.
Many doubted the latest publicity stunt drama from the former Real Housewives of DC stars for good reason. Hours after Tareq contacted TMZ to give them the exclusive, cops revealed Michaele had NOT been kidnapped and a rep for the band Journey confirmed Michaele had indeed run off with the guitarist Neal Schon.
Tareq Sources now tell TMZ he is completely “devastated” over losing his wife to Neal, whom he apparently considered a trusted friend. “Sources” reveal Tareq considered Neal and his band members “best friends.” In fact, the band reportedly came to his winery recently in Virginia and played for free while even staying with Tareq and Michaele.
It gets even better as just two weeks ago, Tareq and Michaele went to a Journey concert in Virginia and hung out backstage with Neal and a woman named Ava, whom Tareq believes is Neal’s wife. Yikes.
TMZ adds that Tareq has been crying hysterically, saying his life is over because Michaele is all he lived for.
And just moments ago TMZ broke the news that Michaele’s affair with Neal has been going on for over 2 years with a source stating she was bragging about the “wild sex” she had with the Journey rocker before she ran off with him.
Michaele Sources extremely close to Michaele reveal she and Neal first met in 1998 while she was engaged to Tareq. And despite the instant attraction the two felt, they managed to restrain themselves at first. However things came to a head in 2009 when the relationship turned sexual while Michaele was still married.
The two managed to keep the 2-year affair a secret until Michaele decided it was time to officially ditch Tareq. Michaele has reportedly described her relationship with Neal as an “intimate and passionate relationship.” In addition to crying hysterically, Tareq is also reportedly feeling “betrayed.”
So to sum this up for ya, while Tareq went to the media crying yesterday that Michaele had been kidnapped, she was busy hooking up with Neal in Tennessee, before bouncing to the next Journey concert in Memphis.
It’s hard to determine if this is a full on publicity stunt because, you know, it involves the Salahis. I am however inclined to believe Michaele did in fact run off with Neal as I doubt Neal would be in on these types of shenanigans. Now did Tareq truly believe his wife was kidnapped? That I highly doubt!
