In today’s not so shocking news, a new report reveals Taylor Armstrong did indeed sell her abuse photos to Entertainment Tonight.
The bombshell report by the NY Post states the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star raked in up to $125,000 for the sale of the photos she says were snapped after a brutal beating by her late husband, Russell Armstrong.
ET released some of the pics last week in a teaser promising to follow up with an actual interview with Taylor this Tuesday. Sources reveal ET wasn’t the only media outlet the photos were shopped to.

“Most shows that were offered the picture did not want to pay anywhere close to that,” says a source. Sources go on to confirm what has been widely reported which is that Taylor is broke and desperate for money. “She’s broke,” added the source. Both Taylor’s reps and ET declined to comment on the story.
As for what we can expect from Taylor’s ET interview with Nancy O’Dell tomorrow, she will reportedly open up on how Russell abused her and what led to the particular incident from which the abuse photos came from.
The HollywoodLife reports that Taylor told ET Russell never hit her in front of their 5-year-old daughter Kennedy. Something Taylor reveals she is grateful for. ET also revealed that Russell tried to change his will six weeks before his death, but never finished. It’s likely that attempted change came about after Taylor filed for divorce.
Following the release of Taylor’s abuse photos, her RHOBH costars are also speaking out about it. “Shocking,” said Lisa Vanderpump to Access Hollywood. “It’s very hard to accept that, to look at that.” Kyle Richards adds, “Very difficult photos to look at.”
Lisa goes on to reveal that she was actually at Taylor’s home the night the alleged abuse took place. “I was with her that night that all this ensued and they looked to be in a good place,” Lisa recalled declining to answer if the couple had been drinking that night. “It was very confusing, their relationship and you see that on the show. … They were in a good place when I left them at 1:30 in the morning. They were in a good place, absolutely.”
When asked about Taylor’s decision to release and sell the photos, Kyle tried to remain diplomatic. “That’s something you’d have to ask Taylor, but I mean, she does have a child to support,” said Kyle.
“She has been left with this crumbling kind of deck of cards of a facade, that not only did she lose the father of her child, her support, her whole lifestyle and everything crumbled around her,” stated Lisa. “So, I think we have to be supportive in whatever choices she makes.”
There are reports that Russell hit Taylor that night after she told him her friends would be going to the cops if she did not divorce him. Following the abuse, Taylor reportedly decided to divorce Russell while in the hospital.
