Real Housewives of Atlanta’s sassy fashionista, Sheree Whitfield is talking about what’s in store for the new season (hint: plenty of drama!) and giving us some dirt on her relationship with the notorious NeNe Leakes (hint: it no longer exists outside of reality TV!).
In a new interview with Sister 2 Sister, Sheree reveals that she definitely does not exaggerate who she is for the cameras! “It’s really my life,” she insists. “Maybe some of the other people are putting on. I know someone in particular who’s put on since season 1, but it’s my real life. I’m not pretending to be something I’m not. I’m not the amp-up girl. It’s real.” (Ahem… NeNe?)
“I spent a lot of time with my family. We have a great time,” she says of the good things in season four. “There’s no drama there … love and fun times.” Sheree’s storyline will also focus on resolving her never-ending child support dispute with ex-husband Bob Whitfield with a little help from her friend, Phaedra Parks! “He’s not paid in a long time,” Sheree explains. “The kids and I are fine. So, I really didn’t stress it, but every now and then, I’d make comments to him, and it was just something that probably should have been done a long time ago, but we’re just starting to take action now.”
While drama in her personal life is at a minimum, rest assured that’s not the case with certain co-stars! “You’ll definitely see another side of me,” she warns. ”I’m always in the midst of something. I try to stay away from it, and I’m constantly being pulled in.”
Claiming she doesn’t like “drama” but sometimes it’s unavoidable, Sheree promises: “I’m not going to start anything. it’s only so much a person can take. I try to avoid you as long as I can, but I can finish it in the end. I try to avoid it, but you can only do so much, especially when you have ignorant people around you.” Sheree – never cause drama? Someone needs to check you, Boo!
Never one to mince words, Sheree is certainly not sparing feelings when it comes to her former friend, now co-star and “acquaintance” NeNe! Appearing on The Wendy Williams Show with fellow Housewives Phaedra and Kandi Burruss the ladies gave the inside scoop on what’s up with the ever-so demure Ms. Leakes!
“We were friends a long time ago,” Sheree reveals. “NeNe has really changed. The fame has totally changed her. It’s gone to her head. She just feels like she’s bigger than everybody.” Apparently, that attitude is what led to a huge blowout between the co-stars!
Sheree believes her close friendship with Kim Zolciak furthered the rift in her relationship with NeNe, ultimately leading to the irreparable altercation! “It was an appearance that I had to do; I brought NeNe in on it — actually Kim, as well — and she tried to pull from me and Kim, what we were getting,” Sheree divulged.
“I don’t care about all the other things that she does, or things that she says ‘cause it really doesn’t affect me ‘cause we’re really not friends like that. We’re acquaintances,” she insists, but “when you try to pull money or take money from me, that’s just really low.”
Kandi confirms that there is a serious divide between the cast mates! “All of us don’t necessarily talk to everybody like that,” she reveals. “They started calling everybody the ‘smalls’ and the ‘talls’ by the end of the season. The taller group of us hung out and the smaller group of us would hang out.” Wow – so I’m expecting a very ummm… outrageous season and an even crazier reunion!
