The crazy continues with the ladies of the Real Housewives of New Jersey and even though the cameras aren’t rolling sisters-in-laws Melissa Gorga and Teresa Guidice are at it again!
While Teresa has been busy filming Celebrity Apprentice, Melissa has taken the opportunity to make the media rounds and do some interviews about her music “career”, her family and of course the show — specifically how she gets along with Teresa! Speaking to Fishbowl NY at Michael’s restaurant in NYC, Melissa again talked about the season three reunion and the Posche Fashion Show drama that will air in season four.
“We had just had a huge blow up the night before, and that was what was on everyone’s mind. It was so hard not to say anything. That’s why Jacqueline [Laurita] wasn’t there,” she explained about the season three reunion. “It was very confusing for us, and we were constantly trying not to say things about things that hadn’t aired yet.”
“Bravo is so sorry they shot them back to back,” she expects us to believe. “I don’t think they are ever going to do that again.” As for what happened, Melissa simply states that Teresa “tried to set me up”, claiming she is back to her “old tricks.” All of this is interesting because in several recent interviews featured on Reality Tea, Melissa has claimed the sisters-in-laws are in a better place now, getting along well and working on their relationship. She also said the show has “brought them closer together.”
This sudden change of heart wouldn’t have anything to do with a recent interview given by her ex-boss, Angelo Vrohidis, who claims Melissa was a stripper? In that same interview Angelo says Teresa had nothing to do with Melissa’s past being exposed.
Melissa goes on to add that her husband Joe Gorga, finds Teresa’s behavior “disgusting” but of course Melissa insists she is supportive of her husband’s family coming together. “The children don’t know about any of this stuff and they don’t care. They just want to be together. They really love each other. That’s what I don’t get. Why does she [Teresa] think I’d want to keep my husband away from his family? It makes no sense,” Melissa mused.
While denying that Teresa is “jealous” of her, Melissa is confused about why Teresa is bothered by her success. “I don’t know why it bothers her that I’m doing what I’m doing as a result of the show. It doesn’t take anything away from what she’s done. I think it bothers her that I even exist!”
Melissa conducted another interview with Mommyhood to Hollywood (wait – she’s a Hollywood Mom?) where she calls her relationship with Teresa a “work in progress”and again stresses it’s all about the children. “I know in my heart that I have done everything I can do to help her relationship with her brother and from this point on it’s between the two of them,” Melissa revealed.
The controversy continues for the hopeful pop star as AllAboutTRH blog (the same site that interviewed Melissa’s ex-boss) recently received an email from a person affiliated with Melissa’s publicist. Melissa is represented by “Illumination PR”. In this email, written by Will Love an entertainment reporter, he has some interesting things to say about Melissa! Including that he met Melissa when her publicist, Robyn, gave him an opportunity to meet the infamous “furtive confidante” of Danielle Staub at the 2010 Posche Fashion Show (featured in season 3).
Will goes on to describe Melissa as rude and claims that her inner circle (her sisters, I suppose) refer to her as “Lady Gorga.” Oh lawdy! Will also claims that Melissa, along with her sisters and Robyn, had a vendetta against Teresa! He claims Melissa and Robyn blacklisted Teresa, along with Kim D from a “Fashion & Beauty Week” Charity night and attempted to convince Bravo not to film the annual Posche Fashion Show in lieu of this event.
You can read the email in its entirety at AllAboutTRH and decide for yourself what you think. I’m inclined to believe there is some truth to it, but also some embellishments.
Moving on Teresa has apparently been thriving in her new gig, Celebrity Apprentice and according to her Tweets is getting along famously with Donald Trump Jr, Aubrey O’Day and Lisa Lampanelli! Anyone else disappointed about that — I was hoping for some drama!
Teresa recently appeared on The Wendy Williams Show where they discussed RHONJ, of course, and Teresa revealed she hasn’t spoken to Melissa “in months.” Regardless, Teresa is confident that her family will be okay and after reassuring Wendy that she loves her brother, she added “we’re going to get past all of this.” Teresa said she spent Thanksgiving with her husband, Joe Giudice‘s family.
But Teresa isn’t all that focused on family drama for the moment, because her third cookbook Fabulicious: Fast & Fit is in production and she has been promoting overtime! Teresa recently did a photo shoot for the upcoming book, which she advertises contains “sexier food.” She also released a preview of some of the recipes on her website.
“I thought you’d like to see some of our behind-the-scenes shots. Here are a couple of pictures of me prepping food, and me and my girlfriends. (I’m sooo happy to report my new cookbook is completely Housewife-free! If you can’t take a joke, you’re “fired”!),” she wrote.
And proving that she’s still Teresa underneath it all she Tweeted that the power went out during the shoot, but things got back on track when they found a generator, “Thank you Jesus!…Sign of the Cross backwards…” Ok, that’s funny — admit it!
