Teen Mom 2 star, Leah Messer is unfortunately experiencing the pitfalls of fame.
According to a new TMZ report, Leah, 19, was attacked by three women over the weekend outside of a movie theater, in West Virginia. Sources reveal Leah was getting ready to leave the theater with her fiancé, Jeremy Calvert, on Sunday night when an older woman began following her and calling her names.
While Leah asked the woman to leave her alone, two more girls appeared, and all three decided to jump Leah. Luckily for Leah, Jeremy and a security guard were able to break things up and get Leah away from her attackers.

Leah suffered injuries which included, a swollen cheek and redness on her chest and neck. Leah maintains she does not know who her attackers are, and plans to file a police report.

Moving on to troubled Teen Mom, Amber Portwood, who is gearing up to leave jail and enter a drug program halfway house. If you recall, the judge in Amber’s case gave her the option of doing five years in prison or entering a drug program.
Amber chose the latter, but suffered an unexpected blow when the judge told her she could NOT film anything for MTV while doing the program, and had to get a regular 9 – 5 job, that does not include filming for Teen Mom.
According to a shocking new report by E! Online, sources close to Amber reveal that despite her past comments about wanting to get out of her contract with MTV, she is now having second thoughts as she a) needs the income and b) does not want to get a 9 – 5 job like all the other regular folk.
Even worse for Amber, she has spent most of her MTV earnings on her legal fees. Sources tell E! Amber decided, Saturday, that she would rather “do her time now and get it out of the way,” because the halfway house is “not the right place for her. She’d have a 10 p.m. curfew and would never see Leah because she wouldn’t want to bring Leah around that place.”
Err… Amber does realize ‘doing her time now and getting it out of the way’ means doing five years in prison right?
“The system doesn’t want Amber to succeed,” the source said. “She needs to stay in the entertainment industry. There are no jobs in Anderson. She needs to finish her schooling. She can’t do all of that with a $7-an-hour job.”
A court clerk tells E! News that Amber has to stay in the drug program for a minimum of 18 months, and up to a maximum of three years. While doing the program, Amber is also required to appear in drug court every week.
MTV is currently filming a new season of Teen Mom, which will reportedly premiere sometime in April. E! reports Amber hasn’t filmed since Thanksgiving.
