Rumors have been circulating for weeks that Yolanda Hadid, ex-wife of Lisa Vanderpump‘s good friend, Mohamed Hadid, is the newest co-tart on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Further cementing that Yolanda has joined the cast is the report that she was spotted filming with the ladies at Lisa’s Villa Blanca restaurant on Wednesday night.
However, sources tell E! News that Bravo has yet to confirm Yolanda’s involvement, and they aren’t sure if she’ll be signing on as an official housewife or be relegated to the “Friends Of The Housewives” role. Apparently, while Yolanda was mic’d and filming with the group, she “seemed to fit right in,” (according to a witness)—this was a trial run and she has not signed a contract yet, only an appearance release for that particularly day of filming. Disputing this, RadarOnline claims Yolanda has not only joined up as a full-on Housewife, but that her husband, music producer David Foster, is more than supportive of his wife’s aspirations to get drunk and act catty on national television. “David and Yolanda got married late last year, and he encouraged her to join the show because he thought it would be fun for her to do,” a source close to the couple reveals. “He is extremely proud of his wife and wants the world to see how lucky he is to be married to her. David is no stranger to reality television; when he was married to his third wife, Linda Thompson, they were both featured on the Fox reality show The Princes Of Malibu, which dealt with his relationship with his then step-sons, Brody and Brandon Jenner.” The delicious Linda has also made some charming and hilarious appearances on RHOBH. I kinda wish she was joining the show, in fact!
“Yolanda is going to make an excellent addition to the cast and she can definitely hold her ground if the claws come out, she is no shrinking violet,” the source adds.

So who is Yolanda? She’s a veteran on the reality television circuit! Reality Tea’s source tells us that Yolanda, who is Dutch, is currently starring in a reality show called Hollywood Vrouwen (Hollywood Women). “It’s basically the same concept as Real Housewives, but about four Dutch women who live lavishly in he LA area,” our source tells us EXCLUSIVELY. “There isn’t nearly as much drama though.”
Yolanda, a former model, appears on the show with some pretty well-known Dutch women. Two of her fellow cast-mates are: “Prinses Inge (once married to an Arab Prince, separated but kept the title), Concheta Leeflang (mingles withe the likes of Eva Longoria, Elton John and Oprah).”
In addition to the famous friends and the reality TV pedigree, Yolanda’s expansive spending and over-the-top tastes make her a perfect addition to this group! “Just know Yolanda is crazy rich and David basically puts no limit on her spending. Also as his wife you already know she’s very well connected,” our source tells us.
“Her wedding, which she produced (yes, it was a production) herself was attended by Oprah, Heidi Klum and Barbra Streisand (among others) with performances by Michael Buble, Andrea Bocelli and Donna Summer.” Well, gee – where was my invite, Yolanda?!
Interestingly, it seems Yolanda was once involved in a love triangle of sorts between her former hubby and her current one! “About her and Mohamed; he is actually the father of her three children,” our source shares. “She met David through Mohammed. They met at David’s $85 million dollar house, which she fully decorated.”
David and Yolanda still live there together, and that is where David asked her to marry him! Strangely, the couple also actually held their rehearsal dinner at Mohamed’s house!
Wow—that’s all very interesting! And I can totally see why the producers chose her to join the cast—and why there’s some serious tension between Yolanda and Lisa!
