It wouldn’t be The Bachelorette without douchey suitors and plenty of drama. Emily Maynard may have been a diva, demanding producers only cast totally amazing guys, but that doesn’t mean she’s exempt from getting a ratings grabbing dud! Hey, it is reality TV after all! And dating – two things that are notorious for their calamities.
Unfortunately for Emily, it seems one of her finalists has a previous relationship with one the show’s producers – who was also very involved in the casting process for Emily’s season! While ABC has not officially released the names of Emily’s guys, rumored top four pick indie car racer Arie Luydendyk Jr once dated Cassie Lambert, a female producer for The Bachelorette. Upon learning Arie’s history, Emily is reportedly “very pissed off,” according to WetPaint.
Emily shouldn’t worry because Cassie and Arie’s romance ended long ago and Cassie is currently engaged to another producer on the show! But Emily can’t get past the odd connection. “Arie has definitely been a front-runner so far,” an insider reveals. “Emily’s developed serious feelings for him.”

Emily was informed of the past love connection by an unknown source. “Emily was shocked when she was told about Cassie and Arie’s history,” the source explains. “She’s furious right now.”
The insider adds, “The sex stuff is especially upsetting. She’s not comfortable with the fact that this guy she’s started to fall for has already slept with her producer.”
And Emily’s knowledge of the past relationship could mean Arie is on the chopping block at the next rose ceremony! “Emily’s hurt. In terms of what this means for Arie’s future on the show… I just don’t know.” Wow! That’s pretty unfortunate for Emily.
Moving on, Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson are still engaged and they are still doing the media rounds to promote said coupledom. Recently the couple visited Las Vegas where they hung out at the Wet Republic Ultra Pool party.
Of course, the duo talked future marriage plans – because what else do they have going for them that could keep them in the spotlight? Don’t worry – the couple is not planning a Las Vegas wedding, “My dad texted me and said you better not be getting married in Vegas! And I was like oh no, no,” Courtney shared with RadarOnline.
And their wedding plans are on hold until they spend more time together. “We think after a year of being together we will be able to see where we want to go,” Courtney explained. “We have talked about a lot, but our first step is moving in together,” Ben confirmed.
Well best of luck to the seemingly happy couple. Wouldn’t it be amazing if a Bachelor match actually made it down the aisle?
