According to rumors, former Bachelor winner Shayne Lamas is in talks to join the cast of Real Housewives of Orange County!
“Shayne has been approached about joining the show,” a network source tells RadarOnline. “It’s early days still and it’s at the initial talks stage but there’s a real interest in her joining.” The source adds, “Producers are very interested in Shayne, as well as her husband Nik, combined they lead a pretty interesting and fun life!”

Shayne is now married to TheDirty founder Nik Richie – which ironically digs up all kinda dirt on the ladies or Orange County (ahem… Gretchen Rossi vibrator pics!). Given that Slave Slimey‘s attempt at comedy kinda echoed TheDirty’s style, that could be an interesting mix. Something tells me Slave wishes himself something of a Nik Richie!
“Shayne would be a great addition to the show,” the source echos. “She’s rich, glamorous and gorgeous, and she leads a fabulous life. Shayne has a great personality and it would translate perfectly on the show.”
Fueling rumors that she’s a contender for the show, Shayne and Nik were spotted at Tuesday night’s WinesbyWives launch at Lexington Social House. Shayne was spied hanging out with Tamra Barney!
Shayne is no stranger to reality TV. She won (lost) the Bachelor, becoming engaged to British Bach Matt Grant and then went on to star in a short-lived reality show with her family called Leave It To Lamas. After breaking off her engagement, Nik and Shayne married in 2010 after dating for seven hours! The couple has a one-year-old daughter named Press.
