It’s no secret that Teresa Giudice is having some major issues with her day job. And unfortunately her professional problems are also carrying over into her personal life. Rumors have been flying that the Real Housewives of New Jersey star may be gravitating towards a spinoff centering around Teresa and her girls. Well, now it seems Teresa is majorly hinting that she might be ending her days as a Housewife.
In her recent Bravo blog, Teresa talks about life on reality television and about her experience on Celebrity Apprentice, away from the family drama and friendship breakdowns. “Last night was also a personal celebration of the exciting new chapter I am starting in my life. I am in a really good place now and just want to wish everyone the best,” she wrote of being on Arsenio Hall‘s winning team.

“I think we should all celebrate each other’s success, and I am so happy for NeNe, Dina, Lisa [Vanderpump], Jill, Bethenny [Frankel], Kim Zolciak, Kandi [Burruss], and all of the other Housewives or reality stars that go on and do other great things! It’s hard sometimes to put yourself out there in the public eye and face the criticism, but in the end if you are a good person who does the right thing, good things will happen to you.”
Interestingly, all the Housewives Teresa has called out in congratulations (with the exception of Jill Zarin, of course) have either scored a Bravo spin off – or one on HGTV, like Dina Manzo – or have struck out on their own in another television venture, like NeNe Leakes.
Moving on, Reality Tea just received EXCLUSIVE information from a source that Lauren Manzo and her longtime boyfriend Vito Scalia are reportedly engaged! Rumor has it the entire proposal was filmed for an upcoming episode of RHONJ. Apparently the producers contacted the restaurant in advance to secure permission to film the proposal and arrange for shooting.
Interestingly in a recent Glamour Magazine article highlighting the daughters of Real Housewives, Lauren claimed she wasn’t interested in televising her relationship or marriage:
“I said to my boyfriend, Vito, a while ago, ‘I found a ring that I want. Go buy it, and we’ll get married on TV.’ And then I said to myself, That’s not what I want right now. It doesn’t make sense to get married. I need to become a woman on my own. And I don’t think I could do that right now with a ring on my finger.”
I guess we’ll see what happens!

UPDATE 2: Lauren is now denying her engagement, Tweeting, “Joking everyone! IM NOT ENGAGED- I figured if Blogs can make up fake stories then I could too just to show how silly it is!”
Well – here’s what WE think. We think Vito and Lauren are engaged, but angling for a spinoff and a season five contract. Reality Tea believes they were told by the network to keep the proposal hush-hush since it was filmed. It would be the perfect segue into season five that would keep fans interested, as well. We all know Bravo loves a wedding story!
Lauren has also been tweeting that she can’t reveal how she lost all the weight because of “contracts,” saying she’s not “allowed” to. Keep grasping at straws, Manzos, keep grasping at straws!
