It seems we’re are going to see a lot of storms on the upcoming seasons of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills…what is weird is that they are all brewing now while the women are filming. Taylor Armstrong’s drinking problem has been the subject of recent fodder, as well as rumors of Brandi Glanville’s rise to resident mean girl. It’s no surprise that these two would eventually sound off against one another on camera.
If you watched the second season’s reunion (and I know you did), you’ll recall that Brandi was very vocal about Taylor’s memoir, claiming it exploited Taylor’s late husband Russell Armstrong’s suicide. Apparently, while on a spa trip to Ojai (a trip where several sources touted a Taylor + booze epic meltdown), Brandi announced her new book which chronicles, in part, her split to actor Eddie Cibrian who cheated on Brandi with his now wife Leann Rimes.
According to Us Weekly, once that tidbit was revealed by Brandi, “Taylor screamed that Brandi was a hypocrite.” Taylor, says another insider, “has been having drinking issues” while filming the current season.

While a source close to Taylor maintains that “[she] is getting better after Russell’s death,” others aren’t as convinced. An eyewitness claims to have seen Taylor partying at Boa, a West Hollywood club, on May 17, citing the RHOBH star was “wasted and crawling into the ladies’ room!”
As if that isn’t enough, Taylor is also dealing with her legal woes which are mounting in light of Russell’s untimely death. The couple had been sued by many investors who allege the pair conned them out of millions of dollars.
TMZ reports that Taylor is now losing her engagement ring due to such law suits. The site claims that one of the original cases settled, requiring the Armstrongs to pay an undisclosed amount. When Russell died, and the debt remained unpaid, Taylor once again settled to pay an undisclosed sum. Apparently, to pay what she owes, the housewife was ordered to relinquish a good bit of personal property, including her engagement ring. The investors have now placed the ring up for auction on eBay in hopes of garnering $250,000 towards what they are owed.
Taylor is allegedly devastated by this turn of events as she had hoped to pass the ring on to her daughter Kennedy. I really have no words for this as it’s just sad all around. Why oh why can’t the housewives franchise go back to what it was in its inception? Sadly, I know that will never happen. Where I used to be jealous of the rich and lavish, now I’m thankful to not be the Keeping Up with the Joneses and failing. Who knew?
