Having a deadbeat dad on the cast roster is rapidly becoming a Real Housewives rite of passage. Hopefully it’s not going to replace the speakerphone invite!
The latest accused deadbeat comes in the form of serial Housewives-schtuper Harry Dubin. Oh dear… According to the New York Post, Aviva Drescher is accusing her ex of being delinquent in child support and other related fees and alleges that he owes her $294,372 for their son Harrison, 10.
Aviva also claims Harry owes $50,000 in private school and summer camp fees. Harry, probably busy fornicating with a Housewife somewhere, forgot he had a child and completely denies owing a red cent.

The Real Housewives of New York star has been divorced from Harry since 2005. Harry has become famous by default for sleeping with both Sonja Morgan and LuAnn de Lesseps, but I guess he’s been too busy getting busy to stay up to date on his child support obligations.
The son of a wealthy Washington DC “power couple,” Harry has not paid child support for at least a year according to sources, and furthermore, Harry’s parent’s have summarily ignored Aviva’s pleas for help – and their grandson!
Aviva alleges that Harrison’s grandparents have decided to “divorce themselves” from their grandson’s needs. “I am very sad that this father has abandoned his son,” Aviva explained. “I empathize with all women and children who have been hurt by deadbeat dads.” Aviva also says he also owes her $80,000 for the previous year’s child support!
“Even if Harry is bitter about the divorce, his son shouldn’t have to suffer. He has no health insurance,” a source shares. Um… whoa…Aviva got lucky divorcing this loser!
Unfortunately, Harry is now joining camp Slade Smiley because this past May a bench warrant was issued for his arrest after he failed to show up in court over the remiss child support payments. Luckily for Harry, the warrant has since been dropped.
Undoubtedly, Harry contests Aviva’s accusations – and takes offense to her comments about his parents: “This is totally untrue. The amount I owe is minuscule. I love my son more than anything in the world,” an outraged Harry insists. “I see him all the time. My parents have nothing to do with this. This is what happens when you get divorced.”

Unfortunately for Harry, a judge seems to agree with Aviva that Harry owes some big bucks. A court order was issued in May demanding Harry pay the $294,372. However, Harry counters that the money is related to outstanding legal bills – not Harrison’s support. “The majority of that was a legal bill, which is obscenely enormous,” Harry quips. “If Aviva wants to utter untruths about me, she’ll have to live with that for the rest of her life, but I will not discuss my son in public.”
Harry’s mother, Elizabeth Dubin responded with, “I have no comment.” Harry’s father, Richard, did not respond to the allegations.
