Teen Mom 2‘s Jenelle Evans and her on-again and off-again fiance Gary Head were both arrested over the weekend. Jenelle and Gary were partying with friends when they started to argue. Witnesses claim the fight turned physical, with Gary hitting Jenelle several times.
Teen Mom Talk broke the news yesterday and millions sat in stunned silence across the nation. Eh, not really. Sadly, not much shocks us anymore when it comes to Jenelle Evans.
“Gary was charged with assault on a female, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance,” Janelle’s attorney Dustin R.T. Sullivan tells Us Weekly. “A restraining order was put in place by the judge. Jenelle has already taken steps to try and protect herself from Gary.”

Jenelle was charged with simple assault, possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
“Gary had been extremely violent leading up to the event,” a source tells Us Weekly. “He had been doing lots of yelling, and physical abuse, including pushing and shoving. This has gone on from the beginning (of their relationship).” Jenelle accused Gary of domestic violence in April, but she did not press charges. This time, since formal charges have been filed, Gary could be dishonorably discharged from the Marine Corps.
E Online reports that the status of their engagement can be found on twitter, as per usual for this couple. The pair has already broken up once this month via twitter over a stolen necklace.
Gary tweets, “Jenelle is no longer my fiancé or girl. She can be with who she pleases…I can honestly careless who she’s with. And I put that on my friends grave. I’m def not marrying her. @PBandJenelley_1 has ruined my life.”
Jenelle tweets, “Went to the hospital yesterday for my injuries thank God im fine. New chapter opened in my life and im pretty excited :).”
Just another sad day in the life of Jenelle. Except, she’s excited and not sad. Oh boy.
