The season finale of The Bachelorette will air on SUNDAY, July 22 at 8 ET, followed by the LIVE After the Final Rose special at 10 ET.
The Bachelorette and her chosen one (and the sore loser) usually pre-tape the After the Final Rose special, which includes an update on their lives since the most romantic proposal ever. This season, Emily Maynard and her final guy will be LIVE immediately following the final rose ceremony. The last rose will go to either Arie Luyendyk, Jr., Sean Lowe, or Jef Holm.

Emily and her final three are off to Curacao. Rumors have been suggesting that all three of the men return from the tropical location at the same time. That rumor plus the change in the schedule led many to believe Emily will be handing out her final rose on the live show, essentially leaving Curacao a single lady. But, according to several reports, Emily leaves the island engaged.
Bachelor super-sleuth, RealitySteve is reporting that the lucky (well, depends on how you look at it) man is….

Chris Harrison!
Jef Holm!
“In Curacao, Emily and Jef got engaged,” says Reality Steve. “Emily and Jef left Curacao as an engaged couple and are still engaged today. Not sure who went home after the overnights (if anyone), not sure who (if anyone) met Ricki, not sure if the final rose ceremony has one, two, or three guys proposing. I just know that Jef definitely proposed in Curacao, she accepted, and they are engaged.”
So, why the live show? ABC is promising a special announcement from Emily and Jef.
Are they already married? Will they be getting married LIVE? They’re secretly brother and sister? They found Jef’s missing F in Curacao? We’re not sure.
Actually, the change in schedule could have less to do with Emily and Jef and more to do with CBS. It’s no secret CBS and ABC have been at odds over ABC’s The Glass House. CBS’s Big Brother and 3, a new dating show, both air on Sunday, July 22. Coincidence?
Once again, here’s the schedule:
Bachelorette‘s ‘final three’ episode airs Monday, July 9. The Men Tell All special airs Monday, July 16. The Final Rose and After the Rose both air Sunday, July 22. And… Bachelor Pad premieres Monday, July 23.
