Yesterday it was announced that after ten years of marriage and three children Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif had decided to separate. Adrienne confirmed the news with a statement and now it appears things are moving quickly!
Yesterday, Paul filed for legal separation from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and reports say he has moved out of the mansion featured on the show.
TMZ reports that yesterday morning Paul filed for joint primary and physical custody of the couple’s children and cites “irreconcilable differences” as the primary means for separation. Paul also wants each party to pay their own attorney’s fee. According to the documents, there is a prenup between the two.

“The welfare of our children is my primary focus as Adrienne and I work through this difficult time,” Paul announced in his own statement. “I want the best for her and our children and I hope that everyone can respect our privacy away from the cameras.”
Well, we all know THAT isn’t going to happen! Already the speculation on what truly caused the break-up has begun.
Allegedly the couple has been practicing their separation for a while now. “Paul moved out of the mansion last week. It was a long time coming, and he is living nearby so that he can continue to co-parent the couple’s three children,” a source shares with RadarOnline.
In fact things have been difficult for so long the couple reportedly even tried an open marriage! “Adrienne and Paul have pretty much had an open marriage for quite some time,” a friend discloses.
“They both knew of indiscretions the other had, and both would get jealous, but their marriage had become so broken it was the only option for them.”
“Everyone involved in the show knew Adrienne and Paul weren’t happy with each other and quickly on their way to a divorce,” the friend adds. “Having an open marriage was not a solution but they were desperate to keep it together for the children.”
Unfortunately the open marriage was the straw that finally broke the camel’s back. Why would you go on a reality show if your marriage was in shambles?
“Adrienne is going to fight Paul for full legally custody of the kids. She wants primary physical custody,” a source reveals. “She says she is the parent who is with the kids the most, and she will do everything she can to keep them. She believes this is what is best for them.”
And Adrienne is allegedly telling friends she thinks Paul will go after Maloof family money – despite the fact that they have a prenup! “Their prenup is ironclad. She said Paul will not get any of the Maloof family fortune,” the source added.
“She isn’t afraid to battle it out in court with Paul for her family and kids. They are the most important thing to her and she’s not going to give up or give in to him.”
Moving on to another RHOBH with a very rocky marriage, Taylor Armstrong is again speaking out about her late husband Russell Armstrong. In an interview with the NY Post, Taylor claims life is much happier now – especially for daughter Kennedy!
“I’ve worked closely with psychologists with her, and I’m keeping tabs on her,” Taylor claims. Kennedy is “more open and joyful since his death. She’s more outgoing than she was during his lifetime.” I’m not sure how Taylor has time for any parenting with all the partying and drinking she’s allegedly doing!
Taylor blames herself for Kennedy’s stress. “She was feeling my anxiety,” she shares. But Taylor tries to remind Kennedy of the good parts of Russell. “I will say, ‘Don’t you miss daddy?’ “And explain and remind her about positive things. I hope she’ll be proud of me.”
