Dina Manzo has left Real Housewives of New Jersey, but not really. Despite leaving the show part-way through season two she has remained an integral part of the storyline thanks in part to her relationship with Teresa Giudice – and her feud with sister Caroline Manzo.
Once Dina quit reality TV, her relationship with Caroline and sister-in-law Jacqueline Laurita fell apart. Caroline has blamed Teresa for the falling out and Dina has vehemently denied this. On a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Dina discussed her current relationship with Caroline and why things went awry.

Fearing the wrath of the bulldog that is The Caroline, Dina tiptoed through an answer, but did admit the strain was “weird.” However she believes someday they will reconnect. I’m guessing that someday will come once (if) Dina discontinues her friendship with Teresa.
“I’m obviously not going to get into the reasons, but. . . we’re all on a life journey and sometimes people’s energy doesn’t vibe,” Dina revealed. Dina has admitted the problems definitely arose once she decided to leave the show and Caroline didn’t support her. “We’re just letting it sit . . .,” Dina added. “It doesn’t mean you hate the person or you wish bad for them.”
“I can guarantee you two things: one, it’s going to be OK one day, we’re going to be back to normal,” Dina continued. “And two is as weird as things are, and I’m not gonna lie they are weird, if either one of us needed each other we would be there in a heartbeat. That’s where the family bond will never be broken.”
One thing Dina was adamant about was that Teresa was not responsible for the problems. “I know this pisses people off, but Teresa had absolutely nothing to do with it,” Dina insisted. Awww… Teresa has a fan friend. Cute.
“I kind of distanced myself from everybody. So I don’t know what they’re talking about. Maybe something went on that I don’t know about.”
Well, there you have it – straight from the horse’s mouth!
Moving on, after a one-week hiatus RHONJ returns tonight. The cast continues their blk. water RV adventure and drama erupts between Jacqueline and Teresa when they try to discuss their relationship.
