Hard work and tireless self-promoting apparently pays off. Real Housewives of New York's resident intellectual, Carole Radziwill has just inked a six-figure deal to publish her first novel, The Widow's Guide To Sex & Dating.
According to the NY Post, following a serious bidding war, Carole procured a two book deal with Henry Holt & Co worth $700,000! The second book will be a collection of essays tentatively titled, A Girl's Guide To Life. Clearly Carole is a woman who likes a theme!
Carole confirmed she had indeed signed a deal with a publisher but wouldn't elaborate on which one. Carole's first book, a memoir, chronicled the death and aftermath of her late husband Anthony Radziwill. Carole's novel has also been optioned for a sitcom.

And apparently she's not the only RHONY lady raking in the dollars this week. LuAnn de Lesseps, the countess of questionable countessing, has just announced the debut of her new jewelry line. Oh dear! Pinot Singer isn't going to like competition for True Faith Jewlery. Although is there really competition for that low-rent Elizabeth Taylor knock off stuff?
LuAnn announced on twitter that Countess LuAnn Accessories is rolling out as part of her new lifestyle line. Wait – I thought she wasn't relying on that old title? Wasn't she insistent upon this at the reunion? A likely story… At least Carole isn't publishing her book under Princess Carole Radziwill.
The affordably priced costume jewelry definitely mimics LuAnn's own personal tastes in um… large pieces. And if you're into that sort of thing you can grab them on her website.
