The Los Angeles based "model" is speaking out about her failed engagement to the wine making dud. She blames the fantasy-like dates and sheltered existence during filming as part of the problem. Wait, really? So you're saying that falling in love in eight weeks while jet setting, swimming with dolphins, and private concerts isn't real life? Wow. Color me floored.
No one really believes that Courtney would have fallen for Ben and his unfortunate hair and Oliver Twist-ish wardrobe in real life, right? I have to say, I almost respect her more for kind of acknowledging that fact.

Courtney recently gave an interview about the show, and Radar Online has the details. Of falling in love with Ben on the reality show, she explains, "In many ways, I felt brainwashed." Now that I believe!
She reveals that looking back on many of Ben's romantic gestures, she realizes they were nothing more than producer driven moments. Courtney does realize what show she went on, doesn't she? Of Ben surprising her with her favorite snack, she recalls, "I realized it wasn't him [who had the idea] … it was the producer."
Once the couple was back in the real world, Ben often told Courtney he was "all picnicked out" when it came to doing sweet things for her. News flash, Ben…you're not good-looking enough to have that kind of attitude. I kid, I kid. It's never okay to act like a d-bag. Courtney also reveals it was hard to see pictures of Ben kissing other women when the pair was supposed to be exclusive. She admits, "I put up with more than I should."
Of course, once the pair broke up, Courtney didn't wait a hot minute before moving on to Emily Maynard cast-off Arie Luyendyk, Jr. I can't say I blame her. She is taking the budding relationship slowly, saying, "He's a cool guy. I'm just trying to figure out the next step."
