I think that Rihanna needs to stick to what she does best…singing and commiserating with douchebags. She doesn't need to be producing and starring in her own reality show. To be honest, I'm so skeeved that she went back to Chris Brown and even encourages his entitled and hateful behavior that I don't really even want to listen to her music, much less watch her on a television show.
Of course, no one asked my opinion, so it appears that RiRi will be heading to the Style Network in 2013 for a show called Styled to Rock where she hand-picks twelve up and coming fashion designers to dress celebrity guests. Does any of this sound familiar?

According to Deadline, the series has been picked up for ten hour-long episodes. Fashion industry icons will serve as mentors to the designers as they style A-list stars. The designer who creates the winning look will move forward in the competition, while one designer will be sent packing. Again…what does this premise sound like?
The president of the network is excited about the series, saying, “On the heels of our successful network rebrand, Styled To Rock and Style’s new partnership with Rihanna will reinvent the fashion competition genre, fueling our viewers insatiable appetite for all things style."
For her part, the songstress is thrilled to be a part of the show both as the host and as executive producer. Rihanna shares, “Fashion has always played an integral part in my life and career. I am so excited to partner with Style Network and share my creative insight with these 12 designers and give them this opportunity to showcase their work.”
The show is the first competition of its kind…for Style Network, and designers can sign-up on the network's website. Me? I think I'll stick to Project Runway.
