The X Factor just cannot seem to get it together. The latest dilemma to plague the show which has suffered from poor ratings and fan reaction as of late is that judge LA Reid is leaving and will not return for a third season.
LA is returning to his full-time gig at Sony. "I have the utmost respect for Simon Cowell," told The Hollywood Reporter. "He is the very best, and I have had the opportunity to learn so much from him. Working with him on X Factor has been a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I'm honored to have sat on the panel with such incredible talent."
Apparently LA, who has been a part of the show since season one and has survived cast restructurings, would prefer to return to his roots.

"Of course, I will miss the show," he added. "In my opinion Simon attracts the best talent but I'm looking forward to getting back to my core business and the responsibility of running Epic Records."
X Factor continues to struggle despite the addition of Khloe Kardashian and Mario Lopez to the panel. There are also rumors that Demi Lovato and Britney Spears may be out after only one season sitting on the judging panel.
