Here comes the bride, all dressed in white. Oh, wait. Sorry Kris Jenner! It seems that high hopes for a Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick wedding extravaganza won't be in the cards for a Keeping Up With the Kardashians season finale. What?
According to the rumor mill, Kourtney is still refusing to make things official with the father of her two children. Seeing as both Kim and Khloe Kardashian offered up million dollar nuptials in the name of ratings, one would think that Kourtney would be on board with using her walk down the aisle to attract viewers. She's not. It looks like Kris may need to find a quick beau for younger daughters Kylie and Kendall if Kourtney isn't willing to use her relationship to spearhead the finale! Gah!

According to Life & Style, Kourtney has once again thwarted a proposal from Scott. As viewers will recall, Scott tried to pop the question to his lady love in 2010 at Le Cirque. Of course, I'm still not entirely convinced that his proposal was anything more than a story line, knowing what we all know now. Who knows? I have despised Scott, and I have liked Scott. While it's a "reality" show, I think that most of them are putting on airs for the camera. Who is to say that Scott's d-bag ways weren't just scripted drama? I actually like Kourtney and Scott. In fact, there are very few of the Kardashian-Jenner clan who make my skin crawl, but sadly the two who do outweigh the majority.
The site is reporting that Scott wanted to propose again, but Kourtney nipped his plans in the bud. The couple has been filming Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, and, after baby number two, Scott was ready to try to put a ring on it. Sources say that Kourtney wasn't feeling taking their relationship to the next level.
An insider says, “She didn’t allow for an engagement to be filmed. They did not film a proposal, and it was because of Kourtney. She said, ‘No.’ She does not want to be engaged.”
Continuing, the source reveals that Scott isn't happy about all of the rejection. A family friend explains, “Kourtney really has been very vocal and told everyone how she does not want to marry Scott. She does not think their relationship is perfect and is scared of divorce. But Scott’s not happy about her never saying yes to a proposal.”
I have to say, I respect Kourtney more for not allowing her relationship to become a wedding special. She seems to have a decent head on her shoulders, and I think she makes fairly good decisions. When this family's phenomenon started and I didn't know Kim as anything other than Paris Hilton's best friend, I always wondered why Khloe and Kourtney were super close while middle (and, at the time, most famous) sister Kim was an outsider with them. A few years later, I totally get it. I'm sure that Khloe and Kourtney love their fame, but I think they'd trade it in a second if their happiness (or their kids' happiness) depended on it. Kim? Not so much.
