Rumor has it that the legally necessary edits to Robert Hoffman's tell-all book, Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World, are almost complete. Kate doesn't like this, obviously, because she doesn't want the book to ever see the light of day again.
Now, according to RadarOnline, Kate wants ex-husband Jon Gosselin to go to jail (and lose the right to see their eight kids) for providing Robert Hoffman with the computer hard drive that contains Kate's own detailed accounts of her less-than-stellar parenting habits (to put it kindly).
To add a little humor to the situation, Kate Major, Jon's ex and now fiance to Michael Lohan, wants to testify as a character witness in Kate's favor.

Reportedly, Kate is struggling to find a lawyer to take her case because she doesn't have any evidence. Never mind the fact that Kate's expectations (jail time) are laughable.
“Kate is desperate to find witnesses who will take the stand and testify against Jon,” Radar's source claims. “But so far she’s having no luck. Anyone Kate has approached is hesitant because they don’t really want to be attached to the Gosselin name and in turn be dragged through the mud themselves.”
Here comes Kate 2.0 to Kate 1.0's rescue! “Jon is very computer savvy and I wouldn’t doubt for one second he would try to spy on her or plant something himself to try to ruin her," Kate Major reveals. “I would gladly testify for Kate. I feel badly for how Jon has tried to smear her as a mother when she always tried to be cordial with him when I was around."
Kate 2.0 insists that Jon constantly bashes Kate 1.0 behind her back, saying, “Jon made Kate out to be the devil, until I realized what a pathological liar he was, and how good of a mom Kate actually is.”
Jon reportedly believes Kate will use her manipulative ways, pulling the kid card or making empty promises, to persuade people to testify against Jon. If that doesn't work: "Jon wouldn't be surprised if she tired to subpoena or depose certain witnesses that she thinks are crucial to her case but have refused to testify on her behalf."
The source concludes, “Kate doesn’t want the public learning things about her that she’s so desperately tried to hide!”
Kate's desperation to keep this book away from the public is quite telling. That said, if Kate is abusive and Jon knows it, how the hell is he not going to the ends of the earth to get his kids away from her? No matter how you spin it, these people are mess, and I feel sorry for the children.
