Rod Stewart’s Wife Not Joining Real Housewives of Beverly Hills; Lisa Vanderpump Insists There Are No Problems Casting The Show!

Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster leaving The Dorchester Hotel

It's probably no coincidence that the week Adrienne Maloof was fired from Real Housewives of Beverly HIlls, Penny Lancaster (wife of Rod Stewart and rumored new cast member) backed out on her opportunity to be a Housewife. After all, Adrienne is dating her step-son Sean Stewart!

Rod shared yesterday that his wife isn't interested in reality TV. "She was asked but she turned it down," Rod insists.

"She doesn't want to do that sort of thing," he told TMZ. "She's just happy being a mom."

Bravo is reportedly having difficulty finding high society ladies wiling to sully their reputation by appearing on the show. In order to bolster the cast to truly represent the BH caliber, they are cleaning house. Adrienne and Camille Grammer are not returning for season 4. Rumors are also swirling that Taylor Armstrong and Kim Richards will be MIA next season.

Dayna Devon is a possible contender to join the show, but that remains unconfirmed. The new season is due to begin filming in April.

Lisa Vanderpump announced that rumors of casting difficulty are untrue and new ladies are lining up in droves to join the cast!

"Well, nobody's been asked to join the cast so they have the problem. We're fine, trust me. We have no problem looking for cast members. We don't need any right now anyway," Lisa insists.

She also denies RHOBH will damage anyone's career, a claim Adrienne and Camille are possibly making by orchestrating a boycott against the show.

"Stay true to who you are and live your life accordingly and then you won't have a problem, will you," Lisa advises potential cast members.
