My mother always told me that good things happen to good people. When I would complain that the mean girl always seemed to get the dream guy or the amazing job, she would remind me that mean people are often miserable no matter what successes they have. She'd say we should feel bad for those who are so hateful and be thankful to have love in our hearts and not be one of those people. Snarking on reality stars aside, I think it's sound advice…and she was right! Just look at Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!
Brandi Glanville has struggled to get back on her feet after a nasty and public divorce, and she's tried to be as straightforward and honest (if not totally brash) when it comes to her life. Her frankness and sharp tongue have proven to be Brandi's greatest allies as she gets the last laugh on her haters. Likewise, Adrienne Maloof, who had me fooled season one, has channeled her inner mean girl, and it's not very becoming.

Adrienne started her reality fall from grace when she claimed Lisa Vanderpump planted tabloid stories, but she really showed her true colors when she accused then husband Paul Nassif of all sorts of horrible allegations during their divorce. However, Adrienne's ploys for pity backfired, and she had to figure out another way to keep her name in the media. Cue a cougar!
To get some much desired attention, Adrienne started stepping out with Rod Stewart's son Sean Stewart (a reality star in his own right with Celebrity Rehab under his belt). The couple was everywhere ad nauseum with Adrienne comparing herself to Demi Moore. It was exhausting. Luckily for us, the pair split after a brief fling. Of course, leave it to Adrienne to get fired and skip out on the reunion in the same week. She needed to divert the negative press somehow. Cue a reconciliation!
Saturday, Adrienne posted the above picture on Twitter of her and Sean enjoying a boxing match at the Home Depot Center. The duo watched Bradley spar with Provodnikov, although Sean looks as if he's been sucker punched in the face. Funny how that works!
While Adrienne is trying to revive her flailing reputation, Brandi is getting what she deserves as well…in the form of a growing paycheck. Not only does she have a New York Times bestselling book and a new hosting gig, Brandi can add actress to her resume. She tweeted, "Shooting a little part in a movie on Monday and rushing to #DWTS 2 support my guurl @LisaVanderpump ♥" Is there a new National Lampoon's movie filming that I don't know about?
