Can we please all cross our fingers in hopes that Kim Kardashian's divorce trial from Kris Humphries is televised? I know it won't be, but a girl can dream, right?
The reality star recently sat for a deposition, and according to sources, she declined to answer some questions. Apparently, Kimmie doesn't want anyone to know that she often tips off paparazzi and leaks stories to tabloids…but she didn't want to lie under oath either. Oh, Kim! We all know your silly secrets. TMZ is reporting that Kim admitted that she was in love with Kris when she accepted his televised proposal and later married him. I believe that she was in love…with the money the giant circus wedding would bring to her and her family!
The deposition, which occurred at Kim's attorney's office on Tuesday, lasted nine hours. Kris was allegedly not in attendance, even after his lawyers made a big stink about his right to be present. Go figure.
According to TVNZ, there were some questions that Kim didn't want to address. A source reveals, "The deposition was long and Kris Humphries' attorney, Lee Hutton, was extremely thorough. Kim was asked what media outlets she talks to, off the record, because Kris believes she has planted negative stories about him in the press."
The insider continues, "It's very well known that Kim talks to a tabloid gossip website on almost a daily basis, with no attribution to her. Kim refused to answer that line of questioning, on the instruction of her lawyer. Kardashian's refusal to answer could force her to take the witness stand at the divorce trial, which is scheduled to take place in May."
Kimye, Jr. was also the subject of many questions thanks to Kim claiming that the drawn out divorce was causing undue stress on her pregnancy. Kris' lawyer deposed Kim on her hectic schedule. The source reveals, "Lee peppered Kim with questions about her relentless travel schedule, including flying to Nigeria and remaining in the African country for less than 24 hours. Kim hopped a twelve hour plus flight back to Los Angeles. Lee wanted to know specifically what Kim's doctor had told her about pregnancy troubles."
The family insider adds, "Kim admitted that it wasn't just the divorce that caused the scare, but rather her very active lifestyle, which has included numerous promotional appearances that require travel."
Well, a big fat DUH! I am honestly starting to think that Kim truly believes she is smarter than the rest of the world. Does the really think the public would buy into Kris Humphries being the cause of her health scare? Have you seen the guy?
