If this is true then Bethenny Frankel needs to hire one of those PR wizards STAT because she is beyond damage control at this point!
Bethenny and ex-husband Jason Hoppy recently met in court for a fraught meeting to begin divorce proceedings, including custody decisions for their daughter Bryn and living arrangements while they are separated. Witnesses say Jason appeared relaxed, but Bethenny appeared – well Bethenny is just Bethenny, so I'll leave it at that!
Allegedly negotiations between the estranged spouses did not go well. Now RadarOnline reports that the Bethenny Ever After star is refusing to a 50/50 custody agreement with Jason. If you recall, she was the one who took the first strike and requested full custody of Bryn!

Unfortunately sources say Bethenny is refusing ANY concessions. "Jason is agreeable to joint custody of Bryn, but Bethenny is absolutely balking. She wants sole custody of Bryn, period. No compromises. It makes no sense because Jason is a very active father and plans to be a huge part of his daughter’s life."
Earlier this week reports emerged that a court-ordered parenting evaluation of both Jason and Bethenny was required by the judge to help mediate the custody agreement. Bethenny was reportedly outraged and blames Jason. Just for the record, this is standard in most divorces!
“Bethenny is furious that her parenting style and methods are going to be questioned," the source adds. "Bryn is her whole life, and she doesn’t want anyone to assess her mothering skills."
Bethenny hired the same attorney that brokered Katie Holmes' divorce from Tom Cruise. And Bethenny was expecting the same rapid results. She is "flummoxed" that she is not getting the same "sole custody" deal that Katie arranged. Unfortunately for Bethenny, Jason is not going to give up either! "Bethenny expects the same result in her case, but Jason will fight her on it,”
Wow! This is terrible. I would hope that both parties – Jason and Bethenny – could see that it is beneficial for Bryn to have two loving parents in her life and mutually agree to fair terms. We'll see. I would like to think better of Bethenny than this given her own self-professed damaged upbringing, but who knows.
