Last week it was revealed that in light of some serious new information against Joe Giudice his trial was being postponed until July.
The prosecutor did not reveal what the new evidence is, but reportedly the Real Housewives of New Jersey star was captured ON CAMERA (and not by Bravo!) at the DMV in the process of obtaining the fraudulent license using his brother Pete's identification.
Joe maintains his innocence and his attorney has rejected several plea deals put forth by the prosecution insisting his client is being unfairly made an example of because of celebrity and will not serve actual jail time related to the incidents.

However, if there is video surveillance proving Joe is guilty that's a whole 'nother situation! Joe's attorney, Miles Feinstein, is undaunted by the new evidence which he does not feel will matter! “The prosecutor gave us new documents and a disc but we were unable to play the disc so we had to get a new one from them,” he told RadarOnline. “I don’t think it will matter but we’re going to review everything.”
“As I’ve said from the beginning of this case, the plea and the charges in this case are disparate because of Joe’s so-called ‘celebrity,’” Mr Feinstein added.
As for Teresa Giudice, she is definitely sticking by Joe, although she is said to be seriously worried that her hubby will end up behind bars!
“She’s hoping for the best, but she’s also upset and completely freaking out,” a family insider shares with WetPaint. “She is so, so worried.”
"Joe has total faith in his attorney,” the insider adds. “So she’s trying to stay positive as well. She was raised in an old-fashioned Italian home and was taught to stand by her man. But the stress is getting to her.” Joe's attorney says Teresa will be by Joe "every step of the way."
Teresa knows her marriage will survive the situation, but she apparently cannot be without Joe. “It’s not about being left alone if he goes to jail,” the source explains. “She’ll be fine, she makes her own money and can take care of the girls. It’s just that she honestly, truly loves him. If he goes away, she’ll be devastated.”
I think this is a truly sad situation for all involved. Don't break the law kids!
