TGIF, y'all! It's time for some Real Housewivves of Atlanta news before the weekend commences. You know that Cynthia Bailey? She's a doll. No seriously (just keep reading)! Kandi Burruss chats about her upcoming vows with RHOA producer Todd Tucker, and we've got the latest name that's been thrown in the hat for next season's newbie!
According to NASDAQ (yeah, we read more than just 'loids around here!), the One World Doll Project has partnered with Cynthia to create her mini-me. That's right. She's going to be a collectors' item.

CEO of One World Holdings announces, "The One World Doll Project has been approached by many celebrities desiring to have a doll created in their image and Cynthia Bailey was the perfect choice to be our first celebrity collectors doll. Over the next few months, we intend to undertake four of these celebrity doll projects which we anticipate will generate approximately $1.2 million in annual revenue for the company."
She continues, "Partnerships with celebrities like Cynthia Bailey are a key part of our strategy to create shareholder value and establish The One World Doll Project as a significant first- mover in the underserved multi-cultural doll market."
For her part, Cynthia shares, "I'm elated at the opportunity to work with Stacey McBride-Irby and design a doll that will expand my message and the overall mission of The Bailey Agency School of Fashion to be confident, to feel empowered and to always be inspired," adding, "As young girls, we looked at dolls as a representation of beauty. I hope looking at this doll will display not only physical beauty, but will also represent the beauty of being confidently and unapologetically who you are." No word yet as to whether the doll will be donning a Miss Renaissance sash and crown while toting a friendship contract…
While Cynthia is being turned into a Bailey Barbie, Kandi is preparing to walk down the aisle with Todd Tucker. The Examiner is dishing on a recent interview with the RHOA star. Of her upcoming wedding, Kandi says, “I am happy, excited, and curious about what the future holds for me and my family,” admitting, “I have so much to think about now, so much to prepare for. I’m clueless. We don’t know if we want a destination wedding, or if we want to do it in Atlanta. Do we want a big wedding or a small intimate one? Do we even want a wedding? Should we just get married privately and do a big reception?”
Someone should remind Kandi that she works for Bravo. She's going to have a wedding…and it's going to be big. It's also going to be filmed. Duh!
Finally, Funky Dineva has some casting gossip surrounding RHOA. The site claims that Crystal Mocahantas is rumored to have joined the cast for the upcoming season. Crystal is engaged to a millionaire producer who owns his own NASCAR team. I can smell the other cast members' jealousy from here! Of course, only time–and air time!–will tell.
