All hail – it's the return of Splits Richards! Our lady of the helicopter pony tail is out promoting the heck out of the drama-ridden new season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. With two new Housewives, Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud added to the mix, Kyle admits the dynamics have shifted faster than quicksand.
As for what she thinks of the new ladies, she isn't giving too much away. "One of them I got along with better than the other, let's just put it that way," Kyle laughed.
Another relationship that is put to the ultimate test is Kyle's off-again friendship with Lisa Vanderpump. Kyle candidly admits they struggle. "We have a lot of ups and downs. Our relationship will be addressed," she tells The Global News Morning Show.

One person Kyle had a surprising change of heart towards is Brandi Glanville. Hmmm… wonder why that is?! Is it because she's trying to win over fans or because she needs a new ally for whom to take down Lisa?!
“We’re very different but we’ve gotten to know each other better,” Kyle said of Brandi. “We are getting along better at this moment — today.”
However, Kyle didn't seem to sure that the peace and goodwill would last. “She’s a loose cannon. She can hit below the belt – that’s what kind of makes you scared of her," Kyle admits.
Summing up the new season as "Definitely a lot of conflict," Kyle admits viewers will surprised by the changes in alliances. “There are a lot of changes in the dynamics with the women and you’ll see people getting closer, people not being friends anymore. A lot of that going on this season.”
With all the chaos caused by reality TV, Kyle says signing onto the show was a bit of a culture shock. "I didn't know what I was getting myself into. I grew up as a child actor and was comfortable in front of the cameras. I'm an open person – how difficult could it be? I was very naiive. And I shouldn't have been."
Kyle says she turned to niece and veteran reality star, Paris Hilton for advice. “I would see the lies that people make up and the stories and the tabloids and I would think, that’s crazy. I can’t believe they say these things. What do you do?"
Paris advised her to focus on the people who know her best and ignore the haters, essentially. "You have to not think about it."
Still Kyle calls the show "very difficult" yet for some reason she keeps returning season after season! “It’s very anxiety-provoking,” Kyle added. “I have had many sleepless nights and many tears doing this show.”
And like sand through the hourglass, so are the friendships of reality TV. And next season it will be Kyle and Lisa vs. Brandi… you just watch.
