I know you all are going to be soooo surprised by what you're about to read, but Kim Kardashian's engagement to Kanye West was filmed for reality TV! I knew pimpmoma Kris Jenner wasn't going to let the ultimate publicity stunt, ratings ploy go to waste – especially with interest waning in America's First Family of Reality Television Atrocities!
In the wake of several unfortunate Kardashian events, including allegations that Kanye would never propose to Kim and that their relationship was fake (I believe it – at least from his perspective!) Kanye planned a big honking proposal – with Keeping Up With The Kardashian kameras in tow!
A member of the orchestra dishes that she was paid four-times her normal rate and required to sign a non-disclosure agreement before performing at the Kimye Proposal Show. The musicians knew 2 days in advance what Kanye was secretly planning and snagged $1k each for the gig.

The musician also tells TMZ that "multiple cameras were rolling" during the event to capture material for the reality show. Kanye was "very hands on" and has final approval of what is aired on TV! I wonder if they'll get a spinoff, or if it will be a KUWTK event. My vote goes for their own reality show…
Whatever the case, Kim is more than thrilled by her latest proposal – and her second made for TV wedding! "Last night was truly magical!!! I am the luckiest girl in the world!" Kim gushed to E! News. "I get to marry my best friend!" Unfortunately this means the Kim Kardashian Fashion Disaster Parade will kontinue. I so kannot wait for this wedding dress. BWHAHAHAHA! I'm gonna guess it won't be Vera Wang this time…
Kanye apparently got permission from Kris J to ask for Kim's hand – which is very accustomed to sporting an engagement ring. Kris said yes as soon as he signed the spinoff kontract! Kanye proposed with a ring from Kim's go-to engagement ring jeweler Lorraine Schwartz. Kanye helped design the ring. "He wanted the diamond to look like it was floating on air. Everything was his idea from beginning to end," a rep for the jewelers explained.
Speaking of ex-engagement rings, Kris Humphries' father is speaking out about Kim's latest walk down the aisle – and laughing that Kim used the same ring designer for her newest 'always and forever' sparkler! “I don't really care, it's water under the bridge," William Humphries told NY Daily News. "But I wish her all best."
As for the ring, "(West) probably didn't choose it," William laughed. "Does a leopard really change its spots? I don't think so. Not much changes, it's just different actors this time around."
As for Kim racing into another marriage, William is unsurprised by that as well. "She's stepping right into it all over again."
Well, now that we know – as expected – that this proposal was a publicity orchestrated affair I'll be surprised if it's legit. I predict that like the rest of their relationship it's all a ruse but Kim is loving basking in the limelight having the A-list connection and access to all the perks that come with it. I mean gotta hand it to the girl she's worked her way up from the F-list. Gross.

I wonder how much they'll make on this wedding – last time Kim and Kris J reportedly netted $17 million dollars in endorsement deals and contracts. And Humphries was pretty much a no-name at that point!
