Bravo viewers have watched Real Housewives of Miami's Lisa Hochstein struggle with infertility for the past two seasons, and she has revealed that she has suffered miscarriages and failed IVF attempts in her efforts to start a family. However, when plastic surgeon husband Lenny mentioned looking into a surrogate, Lisa was uneasy, telling him, “I can still try. It’s uncomfortable for me to think of my baby growing in some other woman’s tummy.”
Now, we are learning why. Apparently, Lisa and Lenny had looked into a surrogate in the past only to face more disappointment.

Speaking to In Touch, Lisa describes her past experience with a surrogate, confessing, “After three miscarriages and four failed IVF tries, it was a nightmare."
Lisa explains, “We thought we’d found the right person, but she had some personal issues and it didn’t work out. It was so disappointing.”
Of interviewing potential surrogates again, Lisa admits, “It’s scary. Obviously, I made a mistake last time because the woman didn’t tell me she had problems." adding that throughout the process, “I’m going to be very hands-on. I’ll want to know what she’s doing at all times. I’ll even send her food if she wants me to!”
No matter what, Lisa vows that she is going to have her dream family one day, telling the magazine, “We will never give up. I didn’t always agree with going this route, but I’m in a much better place now and I can’t wait anymore. It will happen — a baby is coming next season!”
You have to admit, a baby would be a much more positive and exciting story line that what we're seeing from Lisa this season!
