Kandi Burruss' mother does not like her fiance Todd Tucker! Proving that she is indeed a "bad bitch" Kandi is turning Mama Joyce's criticisms into expanding her empire!
First the Real Housewives of Atlanta star wrote, co-directed, and produced a play (possibly heading to broadway soon!) called A Mother's Love about dealing with mamas who do not support their daughter's choices and now Kandi wrote a new song called "Let Them Love".
Kandi's song is now available on iTunes and it's really good!
In other Kandi business, interestingly she shares a stylist with former friend, whom she is now suing, Kim Zolciak! Kandi has recently been posting photos of Shun Melson (who also regularly appears on Don't Be Tardy) styling her for various events – including a recent appearance on Bethenny and for promoting her new song. Hmmm… Hmmmmm… what do we make of this?

Some photos of Kandi being styled by Shun are below! I have to say Ms. Burruss is loooooking fabulous lately: confident, sexy, wearing hot looks, and with cute hair and makeup. Shun is working wonders – or success is!
Moving on Porsha Stewart is "jumping off" Kandi's success. After appearing in Kandi's play in a singing role, Porsha is now branching into her own music career. Her new singled "Flatline" is out next month and is part of a 5-song LP.
The ballad chronicles her marriage and subsequent divorce from Kordell.
"I've been working on this song throughout the whole divorce and the whole season [of RHOA], mapping out my emotions and putting in things that I've gone through," Porsha tells Bravo's The Dish. "It's really kind of a documentary of everything that I went through to become who I am now."
Describing the song as "soulful" Porsha says it really helped her move on. "It's emotional and it's me really being vulnerable and just saying the things that a lot of people feel when you have a heartache and break up with someone."
"When we first put it together, I literally cried," Porsha reveals. "I was like, 'Wow, this embodies everything that I have ever felt, and any of my girlfriends have ever felt, when they were coming out of a breakup. It's just a beautiful song."
Porsha insists she is a real singer and artist – not just a Housewife who is autotuning through a song for money. And she turned to another Housewife who is serious about music for advice: Kandi.
"I know that I'm taking myself seriously. This is not my first time in the studio—I've done demo tracks before," Porsha says. "I didn't become a Housewife and say, 'Oh, I want to sing!' I just decided I had the time to put into it, to actually release something this time. When you go through something like I did, you lean on music. It was really important to me and I decided I wanted to share that with everybody else."
"We didn’t work together on any of these songs, but she did stop by the studio once or twice while I was working on a couple songs and gave me a few angles and pointers," Porsha says of how Kandi helped her through the process. "She was such a great friend—pushing me and telling me she believed in me. She was very encouraging."
Hopefully this music career will help Porsha pay her bills!
