Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Star Brandi Glanville Calls Her Marriage To Eddie Cibrian “Ghetto Rich”

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” season 4 and “Vanderpump Rules” season 2 Cross-over premiere

What can I say about Brandi Glanville that hasn't already been said? She over shares? Yup. She has no filter? Duh. She has no problem throwing people under the bus? Check. Really nothing that comes out of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star's mouth shocks me anymore.

If you watch RHOBH, you know Brandi makes no secret about her financial situation. Even with her best-sellers, her bank account isn't even in the same stratosphere as her co-stars. I'm a flip-flopping Brandi fan, but I do like how candid she is about her struggles with money. She may not have the most, but she works hard for what she has…unlike when she was married to Eddie Cibrian.

Us Weekly is highlighting Brandi's recent interview with the UK's Times. In it, the reality star talks about how she and Eddie did everything to appear to maintain a lifestyle that they couldn't actually afford. She tells the magazine, "Eddie and I were never truly rich."

Brandi continues, "We were ghetto rich. We had the nice cars, the nice house and the nice jewels, but we probably had a second and a third mortgage. We were living paycheck to paycheck, with no savings."

She also discusses what she saw as her contribution to their union in a clear dig towards Eddie. Brandi explains, "I had a hot dinner served on time every night and I looked great on his arm," adding, "That was my role."

Since divorcing, Brandi's drama with her ex has played out in the tabloids and over Twitter. However, she feels that their split did teach her a valuable lesson. Brandi reveals, "I don't live beyond my means. I go to the 99 Cent Store. I'm not trying to keep up with the Kardashians."

Not yet anyway.
