I love when I get to share good news with my RT family, and this is one of posts! Jen Arnold, star of TLC's The Little Couple is in remission after battling a rare form of choriocarcinoma last year which resulted from a nonviable pregnancy. The neonatologist, wife to Bill Klein and mom to Will and Zoey, shared the wonderful announcement with People.
She tells the magazine, "I had my official last chemo treatment, and while I'm hesitant to say I'm cancer-free – maybe that's common for people who have had cancer – I'm doing great. Everything is moving in the right direction. I am very excited."

Jen reveals that she faced several hurdles besides the already agonizing side effects of the chemo. After her diagnosis, she underwent surgery to have a growth removed from her uterus and later came down with pneumonia. Her doctors struggled to find the right dosage of chemotherapy.
"It actually got harder as more time went on," Jen explains. "Some weeks were more difficult than others with different side effects. I had a lot of fatigue and nausea and some days it just felt like my hands and feet were very heavy."
While in remission, Jen will continue to be monitored by her team of doctors weekly, and eventually monthly to make sure that her cancer does not return. Jen is also relying on family to continue to lift her spirits. She shares, "Bill knows when I'm not doing well and he takes such good care of me. That was huge. That and enjoying watching my children play was a huge uplifting part of my treatment. With kids running around, you don't have much time to feel sorry for yourself."
Jen adds, "Sometimes I get a little winded when I walk around more and I have that fuzzy chemo brain at times, but I am very excited and happy to be where I am right now. I want to get stuff done. I am anxious to get back to my normal self."
Yesterday, Jen tweeted the wonderful news.
