If you simply can't enough of Kail Lowry, Leah Calvert, Jenelle Evans, and Chelsea Houska, you will be happy to hear that Teen Mom 2 has not been canceled despite reports to the contrary.
Last week, a "production source" claimed, "There is no season 6 of Teen Mom 2 – season 5 is the girls' last season. They want to end with high ratings."
Then a second source reported that the current season of Teen Mom 2 will be shown in two parts — 5A (currently airing) and 5B (currently filming) – and then it's lights out for Kail, Leah, Jenelle, and Chelsea.

Yesterday executive producer Morgan J. Freeman told Hollywood News Daily that the Teen Mom 2 cancelation rumors are "not true." He did not give up any additional information.
Since new episodes of 16 & Pregnant are being taped, I have a feeling MTV is waiting to see if they find four girls who are messy interesting enough to launch Teen Mom 4 before they officially pull the plug on Teen Mom 2.
