The polls have spoken! Bethenny Frankel received 51 percent of the votes for the housewife viewers want to return the most. But were Bethenny Frankel and Andy Cohen listening? Or did they already have a plan for the former star of the Real Housewives of NYC to return to her reality TV roots?
A few nights ago, on Andy Cohen's raucous late night show Watch What Happens Live, the Skinnygirl mogul was asked about the cancellation of her daytime TV show and what was in store for her future. After accusing Andy Cohen of planning the question from a caller about returning the NYC Housewives, Bethenny gave a very bland answer about needing to take a break….

“I have my business with Skinnygirl and many other products that are launching this year,” Bethenny explained. “But I really do need a break.”
“Could you take a break? Andy asked.
“Totally,” Bethenny says. “Beyond. I’m full. I’ve been white-knuckling it for so long trying to get somewhere and I was hopeless and broke and alone. I’m just really happy, I’m so grateful, it’s been such a great journey, but I really do need to check-out and take a break.”
“I played the fame game. I won and I don’t really want to do that right now,” Frankel added.
It all kind of makes sense. Andy Cohen and Bethenny Frankel are quite good friends. And Andy just launched his own production company with of course a deal with Bravo. So what better way to make a splash in the reality TV game than by bringing back a favorite?
“Bethenny has been talking with Andy about returning to Bravo with another show, and this would be one of the first things he produces with his new company,” a source close to the reality star told Radar Online.
“They’ve been in deep negotiations and she is definitely ready to return to Bravo, even though she loved being on network TV with her other show.”
The source also said that Frankel is still turning her back on the show that made her famous.
“Bethenny probably won’t stoop to that level and go back on RHONYC, she thinks she’s beyond and above that.”
Frankly Bethenny is better off with her own reality show than rejoining the RHONYC. Have you seen the train wreck that is Aviva Drescher? Although it would be fun to see Bethenny Frankel tear into her.
DO YOU WANT BETHENNY BACK ON REALITY TV? SHOULD SHE DO HER OWN SHOW OR REJOIN THE RHONY?
