Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ Lisa Vanderpump Reveals She Was Most Hurt By Brandi Glanville

American Humane Association Celebrates with Lisa Vanderpump

Bravo's queen of class recently sat down for a one-on-one chat with E!'s Giuliana Rancic, where she dished on her marriage, her co-stars, and her Vanderfabulous spin-off. Oh, how I've missed your snark and candor, Lisa Vanderpump! The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star opened up about the most recent–and most tumultuous–season, as well as her falling out with former best friend and shadow Brandi Glanville, and Brandi's new team of Yolanda Foster and Kyle "Splits" Richards.

All Things Real Housewives has recapped the interview in case you missed it. Of the show itself, Lisa recalls, “I do remember saying to [Bravo’s producers] that I wanted to leave the show with the same integrity I came in with. I just don’t want any BS editing. I’m no angel, I do make a few snarky comments and have a laugh. It is a television show. But I’m not in this business or on this show to put down my cast mates or get into a bitchfest, that’s not who I am, and I think if that day comes then I should leave."

Sharing that she met husband Ken Todd through her brother, she describes a whirlwind romance in which they were engaged within six weeks of meeting and married less than two months later. Pandora was born in 1986, and the couple adopted Max a few years later.  While Lisa has a strong support system through her family, she reveals to Giuliana that this past season was very hard. She admits, “I think this season…there was four [Kyle, Yolanda, Brandi, and Kim Richards] against one,” adding,  “The two new girls have been really supportive, Carlton [Gebbia] and Joyce [Giraud], I have to say they were great. But when the 4 of them get together and on the same page, it’s very difficult.”

When asked which of her cast mates has hurt her the most, Lisa responds, “Brandi. It’s been horrible. Saying horrible things about me. I don’t want to give it too much credence, it’s just to keep deflecting, keep denying, and the fact is that once something is out there it can stick and that’s upsetting."

Lisa continues, "But I don’t retaliate. I mean I could throw every name out there, it’s an easy target, but I’m not going to. There are some downsides and this season has been particularly difficult," explaining, “I want to be on a show with six bright, beautiful successful women. That’s why I’ve never understood the competitiveness and negativity. The better everybody does, the better it is for the show.”

Telling Giuliana that she "definitely" thought of quitting at certain points during the season. Giuliana also inquires as to whether Lisa believes her RHOBH counterparts are jealous of the success of Vanderpump Rules, Lisa chides, "Have you watched my show?"

Getting serious, Lisa asserts, "I’ve had a lot of great opportunities and when Vanderpump Rules was picked up for 16 episodes and I think it even superseded Housewives’ ratings…I would like to think they’re supportive, but I can’t say honestly that they have been.”

No surprise there!
