The tireless question of this season’s Real Housewives of New York is this: How did Aviva Drescher‘s prosthetic end up on the floor?!
In the upcoming season finale, we’re shown footage of Heather Thomson yelling and Aviva’s leg laying on the carpet. “During a wild argument” between cast members, “Aviva yells, ‘What do you want from me? To crawl out of here?’ All the while, she’s shimmying out of her prosthetic leg under the table,” a source reveals. Then Aviva “throws it, in front of a crowd of shocked people.”

Since RHONY filming wrapped a year ago, the source explains that the incident happened “last fall” but witnesses were required to sign non-disclosure agreements with Bravo preventing them from spilling the beans! “It’s something that definitely has not been seen on TV before,” the source adds to Page Six. Well, it’s definitely the most interesting thing we’ve seen Aviva do on TV this year!
As for what’s to become of this season’s cast after less than stellar ratings, the source reveals that Bravo has made no decisions yet.
Moving on, LuAnn de Lesseps battled with Ramona Singer on last week’s episode when LuAnn refused to sing with Mario at Birdland. Ramona claimed LuAnn was afraid to sing without auto tune. LuAnn revealed, however, that she did sing later but Bravo did not air the footage.
Birdland’s Jim Caruso not only confirms that LuAnn did indeed sing live, but reveals to NaughtyButNiceRob that it was a fabulous performance! “It’s no surprise that LuAnn is successful,” Jim gushed. “She’s dynamic, unique, smart and drop-dead gorgeous. Her vampy performance of ‘Big Spender’ knocked the socks off of the Cast Party audience, and there wasn’t an auto-tuner in sight! Billy and I will be her Pips any day!”
Well I don’t know how much LuLu paid this Jim to sing her praises, but hey maybe she’s been taking a lot of singing lessons since the last time we heard her sing live. Or perhaps LuAnn just has friends in high places – she is a countess, after all!
Tonight RHONY is back. Carole celebrates her 50th birthday with an extravagant shin-dig, Kristen and Josh visit a marriage counselor so Josh can hear a professional tell Kristen what’s wrong with her (in his dreams!), LuAnn and Jacques break up, and Sonja believes her relationship with Harry Dubin goes to the next level only to have things take a shocking turn.
