Lisa Vanderpump is at the top of her game, despite being at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to her former friends on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She is already the proud owner of multiple successful restaurants and lounges in L.A. and now she is being honored with a star on The Palm Springs Walk of Stars.
So with all of her success, why would she come back to the successful Bravo franchise after being chewed up and spit out by her cast-mates last season?
The answer is simpler than you may think.

“I was under contract with Bravo…Will I regret it? I don’t know.”
“Yes, last season was awful and I think the viewers were very uncomfortable about that and I did feel like quitting after that,” she told E! News. “But time is a great healer and after six months, I kind of reconnected with a couple of them and I thought, ‘OK, I’ll go back in.'”
Wonder who she “reconnected with? Brandi Glanville? Kyle Richards? Or perhaps she was integral in getting her friend, Lisa Rinna, added to the cast. Although she will neither confirm or deny that the former Days of Our Lives star has joined the show, she is more than happy to talk about what a great addition Lisa would be.
“I’ve known Lisa for 25 years,” she said. “I love her and I have an authentic relationship with her…I do think she’s very opinionated and vocal and I think that’s a good thing for reality television or you fall asleep.”
Besides filming a new season, Lisa has much more pressing matters to deal with. Like how is she going to deal with the desert heat while receiving her star on the Walk of Stars?
“There is the rule that you don’t wear mid-colored silks because that shows the sweat. I’d love to say I’ll be glowing but I’ll probably be sweating. I have to figure this one out. And I have to wear makeup for the cameras but it will probably be in a puddle beside me.”
I have a feeling that Lisa will look great despite the heat.
