This week on Real Housewives of Orange County, the ladies, plus Tamra, kicked off their big trip to Bali. Call me crazy, but if I’m going to invest 25 hours of my time to travel somewhere, it wouldn’t be with people I don’t get along with, people I merely tolerate, and/or people I flat out do not like. Gotta love Bravo.
Vicki Gunvalson‘s dramatics aside, the trip started with promise. As Heather Dubrow said, it took 24 hour for the yelling to begin, that is a win! However, thanks to tension between Lizzie Rovsek and Tamra Judge, everything went to hell their second night in Bali.
Shannon Beador blogged her take on the first full day in Bali. She, too, can’t believe she traveled 25 hours to get there, but she was genuinely excited about the trip. “I never thought I would ever travel 25 hours to get to any destination,” she shared. “Life is full of surprises… welcome to Bali!”

“I always have a great time with Vicki,” continued Shannon. “When she and I saw the kayak on our first day at the beach, there was no question that we would take it out. We came across a small, unoccupied boat and I dared Vicki to climb onboard. Of course, she took the dare! As she was stepping into the boat, she lost her balance and we tipped over. My hat was drenched, the cocktails were spilled, and we couldn’t seem to climb back into the kayak.”
Shannon added, “What you did not see was a local man swam up and helped us after 20 minutes of struggling! What a crazy fun morning!” That poor man! I have to say, all of the locals came across as fun and friendly. I couldn’t help but laugh at the tour guide who joked about being on an elephant for the first time. I love a great sense of humor!
“At this point, I had not spent a lot of time with Lizzie,” shard Shannon. “I was surprised to find out she was having issues with Tamra over her birthday party when we were on the elephants. That night, dinner was a little boring. I was considering trying to push Vicki in the water to spice things up! I excused myself to use the restroom and scout out the water and when I returned, there was a lot of yelling going on between Lizzie and Tamra. For once, it was not something about me!”
Shannon revealed that her plan for the rest of the night was to join Vicki and Tamra. However, we saw Lizzie warning Shannon not to trust Tamra, and the episode ended with Shannon out for Tamra’s blood.
“I told Vicki and Tamra that I would go up to their room and meet them when they left. As I was getting ready to go, Lizzie and Danielle apologized to me. I was a bit taken aback, but they said that they had misjudged me largely based on statements made by Tamra,” shared Shannon. “I was floored when Lizzie told me Tamra had told everyone on the trip about the ‘confidential’ email. After her apology, the last thing I thought she would do was betray me with others.”
Shannon concluded, “I don’t understand why Tamra is saying such damaging and false statements about my character, and I want to get down to the bottom of it.” I am all about Tamra getting called out for lying and pot stirring. If only we could get her “you’ll never see my face again!” promise in writing.
