This season of Real Housewives Of Atlanta is bringing tons of changes! Discussing all the goings on are Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker. And oh my, it’s a juicy dish with lots of info!
Of course we all know that Phaedra Parks‘ marriage to Apollo Nida has unraveled in the wake of his legal problems. While we all assumed it was his going to prison that caused the distress, Kandi reveals that there were many, many other things we don’t know! And guess who’s right smack dab in the middle of it: Kenya Moore!
Stating that she and Phaedra are “cool” Kandi defends her friend and has her back. And she reveals that the nonsense between Kenya and Apollo is definitely not resolved, but Kandi won’t give too many details!

“It’s a lot of stuff about that situation that you’re going to find out on that new season, so I can’t really tell you,” Kandi explains to ‘The Breakfast Club’. When asked if Kenya and Apollo are “smashing”, Kandi denies this but alludes that something else inappropriate is definitely going on! “It’s some things that will be surprising about that situation that’s going to come on the new season.” So I guess this latest mystery man didn’t pan out for Kenya…
Kandi explains, “For me, if it were my husband, I wouldn’t leave him just because he was going to jail. If it was about the other stuff that was going on that would be different. If he was just doing me wrong all the time, I would be like ‘I don’t have time for this.'” And that basically answers whether or not Phaedra is divorcing – all signs point to yes!
“I didn’t tell her to get a divorce,” Kandi clarifies, stating that Todd’s friendship with Apollo can cause friction in their relationship because as we know Kandi is always Team Phaedra.“This conversation gets heated sometimes,” Kandi admits.
Moving on, Kandi confirms the rumors that Claudia Jordan has joined the show – and is causing a lot of mayhem! “Let me say this, that damn Claudia Jordan [has a mouth on her]. When I tell you that girl be saying some things, I was like, ‘okay.’ She was letting some people have it this year.” (Ahem… NeNe Leakes).
Speaking of NeNe, apparently she and Kandi are now getting along! “I think in the past, NeNe and I bumped heads for whatever reason. This year, we’ve been doing a lot better, so far because we’re still taping,” Kandi cautions. “In the past we bumped heads a lot and I don’t understand why, but for whatever reason—I don’t know, she was never a fan.” Apparently NeNe and Phaedra are also getting along! Ch-ch-changes…
Finally, Kandi gives fans an update on her marriage. Kandi and Todd are trying to get pregnant (or maybe they already are!), touring their musical A Mother’s Love, and Todd has a new show called Hollywood Divas coming out. And shockingly – most shockingly of all – Mama Joyce has lessened the crazy! #IllBelieveItWhenISeeIt
“After we got married, she realized there was nothing else she can do about it so she was like alright,” Kandi shares. Finally!
